Certainly some close stat outcomes with those last three coaching records there , always thought that those one percenters could make a difference . On a serious note , until this current Manly squad can get some better defensive resolve and structures drilled or coached into them next season , will be another struggle regardless who the head coach is [ but definitely not Jason Taylor , please ] Pretty counter productive when you can score or accumulate enough points to normally win some matches but just get run down or beaten by then conceding too many points with some sub standard tacking efforts by the team in general . The return of A P I should make a positive difference but still need much more then that to get some better defensive respectability and reputation back .Yes let's limit a set of statistics to get a result we want.
Hasler 361/210 wins/151 loss/58.8%
Maguire Super League 70/53 wins/14 loss/3 draws/75.5%
NRL 165/92 wins/73 loss/55.8%
Barrett 74/29 wins/45 loss/29.2%
On fair stats Barrett is rubbish as we all know and Hasler and Madge are top draw (despite the way Des left us)
Carty 45.3%
Henry 42.9%
Taylor 43.0%

I wanted Maquire whilst Dessie was off the radar. But Des is the best fit for us by a country mile!
He was here with Baz, couldn't help us too much, well we weren't too good in defence under him anyways. Feel he's a one-hit wonder coach, 2018 things went well, although they had a strong forward pack that hit form and carried them a little. Time will tell, but like all I'd much, much rather manly's Dessy back where he belongsI honestly think that Siebold would have been a perfect fit for Manly also. But glad Des is coming home.
That sort of thing might be ok at the Knights...Why can't we have three head coaches? Surely three is better than two…
I feel sorry for those young kids if that turns out to be the case... he’ll stunt their development. No he didn’t, you heard it here first he will be head coach of Shellharbour Under 6’s
Barrett was busy playing with two heads for the last three seasons. Why can't we have three head coaches? Surely three is better than two…
Or get them on the piss after a loss.I feel sorry for those young kids if that turns out to be the case... he’ll stunt their development.
