i remember his form being terrible under barrett and that still got him a contract extension ive given up understanding our recruiting i look at our team tonight and i think maybe 6 or 7 of the 17 would not be selected anywhere else

I commend Jorge for his efforts over the years.
I saw when the team was warming up, how vulnerable and uncertain he is with dealing with high kicks and to see him so out of position for the first try tonight is really poor.
It is time for change. We have candidates like young Hoppa who deserve a chance. We need some speed in the team as our backs right now are really pedestrian.
Last year, how many tries did Garrick score? He hardly touches the ball in an attacking sense now and thats sad and its affected his confidence.

Taufua cops a fair bit of criticism a lot of it not his fault gets left with a few a defenders against him , some pin point kicks when he has to turn and chase , I’m a fan of of Jorge he does some thing other wingers can’t do and he can’t do himself . But I’m getting to stage when Jorge may longer hold his spot in 1st grade but who comes in ? Hoppa is the option but who else , Funa is a centre he showed that tonight , Who replaces him ? That is a specialist winger at the club ?

Im not blaming him... give him a job at the club doing something. I'm just pointing out that his body has clearly been affected over the years and it may be in his best interests later in life

Well t rex started on the wing.. don't think u really need a specialist winger. In fact I think there are probably only a few specialist wingers in the comp. Most are normally centres or fullbacks playing NRL on the wing

Sorry didn’t expand I was wrapped up in the moment of Jorges final swan song. If Parker is back, Funa to the wing. Not that it’s particularly inspiring but we might see soon. I guess we’ll playe with what we have. TBH, I’m beyond this season. I actually couldn’t care less who they play now. Just hope they dig in and play well.
Yes and no T Rex they called the Queen Mary cause it took him so long to turn around , Parker was tried on the wing and was terrible
Addo , Toupo , Vinuvave Sivo Furgerson are all specialists winger‘s to name just a few I think you need specialis wingers
