I honestly don't know what Grant Atkins was thinking in the bunker confirming that try with a clear cut knock-on.

And that is why I think only Graham Annesley should be in the bunker throughout the round. Its not physically possible to have the same ref at each game, but it is possible with the bunker.

How does a video ref review it in order to mandate an HIA, but not to advise the hit was high, penalty should be issued ?

Easy. It was the doctor in the bunker that said Jake had to come off.

Saw it live, was screaming into the abyss. Half a dozen of our players saw it too and were appealing to the ref.

I don’t understand our side on occasion games we have a big lead & lose our way in defence focus ffs.

There were some serious aggravating circumstances that contributed to our defence falling away late. We need to aim to be better, but that was a gutsy win in the end.

Soo...if you were told before hand that we'd win 30-26, we'd all take it, yes?
Then told we'd lose Paseka after 5 mins, Alioai in the 2nd half and Jake got a HIA leaving only one on the bench, we'd take it again and say how resilient we were, yes?

It's the score at the end that counts, the journey may be bumpy but we got there first and really that's all that counts.
