That last 15 was abysmal.

We obviously switched right off, and fair enough too, I suppose.

A few things are obvious though, to put a rest to all the bull**** talk.

Walker is terrible defensively, and it's clear why Des is not playing him in his preferred position.

Siro can play middle, and should only play middle, looked gassed though, which I guess is understandable.

I'm a big fan of Lawton, but Croker has him covered easily at 9.

What happened to Jake?

Some great cutting tackles, but a bit in limbo in attack. He was getting in the way again at the wrong end of the field while we were attacking in the first half, though he did have a few good runs where he just ran hard. He just seems a bit lost at the moment in terms of his role in attack

I am always happy to see us win

But if that's our standard of defence when the storm on Saturday night have a huge amount of ball then we are in for a major reality check.

Last to weeks very clunky wins.

Will take the win but des must not be happy with that performance to end the game .

I wouldn't be too distressed by this one. Manly just played to win, nothing more. Short 20 minute spurt did the job. They were in second gear, just making sure they didn't over extend themselves and risk injury. They had their eye on the next two weeks. This was just a training run. They got the points. That's all the wanted.

Parker was poor tonight but what was even more highlighted was how poor that defensive edge comes with Walker in the centers. Another sloppy game, reminiscent of the Tigers game. I hope Des just let them play razzle dazzle due to the quality of the opposition. If we do that next week it'll be storm by 60. Need to simplify the attack a bit, too many turnovers.

Regardless to how we went tonight...anytime Turbo is in the team we are a chance.
