I considered it a few times. The last couple of weeks have seen narrow losses on the scoreboard but there’s definitely a stench about things and it feels much worse than maybe it appears. I think the DCE announcement has amplified things. It feels like a broken club atm.

The media referred to spoon complaining aabout scheduling during Bennetts press conference. They asked Wayne whether the short turn sounds had hurt Souths. Wayne responded by saying the NRL is a tough place and every team goes through periods of playing off short turn arounds.

Last night Bennett said he wished Jai Arrow was angry on field rather than at a crowd member. Fairly scathing when put forward in Bennett's dry tone. I'm sure Arrow will hear about it.

Not a lot of good with one who keeps telling his under performing players how proud of them he is either, little bit of straight talking (truth) never hurt, as opposed to continuously handing out the participation ribbons, no need to berate anyone.
Yeah i just watched Bennets press conference where the reporters mentioned Seibolds complaints, Wayne made that no excuse it certainly makes Seibold look like a fool

Not really. Seibold said all teams go through it and was pretty measured and fair. We don’t need Bennett to agree with everything for an opinion to be valid.
Yes, every loss he finds a way to be really proud. Whether it's effort or winning a second half of holding a team to X amount of points. The guy really needs to cut that crap out. How hard is it to say "we were way off tonight and need to be better". Or something along those lines. NRl history tells us that coaches who shower praise on a regular basis after a loss don't end up having long careers. They do it to try and ward off any negativity towards themselves.
Fair point, I didn't listen to his original remarks and was more going off what others said if that's the case then scratch the fool part

He also didn’t blame their loss on the scheduling, or even raise it, he handled it way better, I thought the interesting part of his presser related to the question on the hip drop, his response was pretty good, went something like, what even is a hip drop, I don’t really know………
