Unless you are in the inner circle at Manly then your side knowledge is possibly , 2nd , 3rd , 4th hand and we all know that gets skewed.

I was an insider once , at the time there was the Great War about ownership , I had the ear of lots of people but in the end , even with that , I was being fed a narrative to suit the people who were telling me.

So sorry if this gets up your nose , but I believe almost nothing these days , both sides will leak information in the hope it turns views their way where in reality the truth is in the middle.

So people who post under their real names are not “just fans”? Anyone on a fan site like this is by definition a numpty (including yours truly), though I suspect there are some who think they are better informed and better connected than everyone else, which seems to be an ego thing.
