Seibold Ball

Des has let himself go??

It's almost like age and an ageing metalobism are contributing factors for anyone that doesn't live on a diet of lettuce.
Frankly, I'm surprised we don't have more coaches having heart attacks and/or strokes. It's bloody stressful!! It's bad enough me watching at Brookie or on the tele for away games 🤣

Trent B was literally a model, six-pack and fit as. We know how that turned out. Seibs and any coach for our club is struggling with stars on overpaid contracts who aren't performing. Tommy is a coach sacking killer over past few years, Jake is on double he should be and maybe DCE is a bit over too. He's stuck with Josh A on a terrible contract, and controversially Paseka who I reckon is in the 6th year of all of us saying he is going to need to step up (man mountain) and never has. Koula is still on potential and big dough.
It’s his team?? He’s been here longer enough to shape it.

**** me we are now fat shaming on Silvertails.

This is a new low.
Geez some of you are good at spinning a narrative out of proportion. You’ve been banging on about the media twisting stories, but you’re guilty of doing it yourself now.

When Des dropped Schu because he was unfit and out of shape, was he fat shaming him or did he expect his player to be in peak condition for performance?

all that’s been suggested is that it can be advantageous for coaches to model the kind of diet, health and fitness they demand from their players…why? Because of the optics. It’s the same reason a businessman wears a suit to work.

If you want to sensationalise it as fat shaming, go right ahead, but frankly, that’s ignorant and disingenuous. I’m sure you’ll have something to throw back over the fence but I’m not going to entertain any further discussion on the matter.

WTF??

Seriously get off your high horse

Only you could cite the poverty and hunger in 3rd world countries as proof of all people being equal.
I'm simultaneously horrified by you️r world view and oddly impressed at thinking 'outside the box'
This is your perception feathered friend
My point was that All people are equal in terms of weight gain
All people have the same health conditions in all parts of the world .
There are no fat people in 3rd world countries because they have no junk food or junk Grog and over eat or eat fat foods
There are no Excuses for being over weight .
We live in a world full of weak people that live their in their comfort zone filled with excuses to justify their circumstances

Every one has their weaknesses
EVERYONE !
We all have an addiction to something
The ones that own this Dont live in denial and have the opportunity to try and do something about it

Andy Reid from the Kansas City Chiefs isn’t exactly known for his physic & he managed to win 2 super bowls in a row recently. A self described ‘chubby guy’ that talks about his love of cheeseburgers every interview. Either he is a miracle worker or this is the dumbest argument I’ve ever seen for a sports team not succeeding in a long time 🤣

Let's get back to the important stuff like what's happening with Mestrov and milking this week?

Wholeheartedly agree. How is it fat shaming?? We are talking about elite athletic performance. If we expect the players to be in shape, train hard, eat well, then the head coach, and trainers should be leading by example. This should not be that controversial. If anything, culture and respect is only enhanced if these footy chiefs practice what they preach.

Yeah, but the chiefs are the darlings of the NFL cause they bring in all the swifties. Seibold could coach them to the Super Bowl with all the preferential treatment they get (a disgruntled 49er).

Dumb is reading between the lines of what wasn’t an argument to begin with. It was never presented as anything more than a preference that an elite sports organisations have fit and healthy staff. I’m sure there are many examples of successful sporting organisations with the contrary. It’s no big deal either way but like everything on Silvertails, people see a crack, strap dynamite to it and blow the whole thing to pieces 😂
