SEA Eagles players have been visiting Peninsula primary schools in recent weeks to promote the importance of literacy.

Glen Stewart helped out with the Sea Eagles Read community program.

“Gorgeous George” Rose was a popular face at Narrabeen Lakes Public while Daly Cherry-Evans was at Manly Village and Matt Cross visited Terrey Hills.
Cult hero David Williams and Glenn Stewart are also tipped to join their teammates in the coming weeks.
It was part of the long-term “Sea Eagles Read” program where students have the chance to interact with their heroes in the classroom.
For their great work in the community the Sea Eagles were nominated for the Sport Team of the Year in the Beyond Sports Awards.
They will be up against the likes of NFL teams Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers as well as Everton Football Club.
