I assure you Jason is no “ moron”.

And remember much like Silvertails , it’s an opinion.

You can agree or disagree which is your democratic right.
Mark - does he know the difference between 'floored' and 'flawed' - or was it a pun on the fact that we're on the 'floor' of the comp?
I hope for his sake it's the latter......

I think Des is doing some things right like getting buy in from former players like Monaghan Stewart and Ballin

But yes, nothing is working since the rug was pulled i.e. six again

I genuinely believe Des is exhibiting signs of early stage dementia.

Some key signs:

Memory loss that disrupts daily life. ... (cant remember what happened in last weeks game so picks the same team every week)

Challenges in planning or solving problems. ...(self explanatory - we are 1 win from 15, not even an attempted solution)

Confusion with time or place. ...(thinks it is 2011 and his game plan still works in the modern NRL)

Trouble understanding visual images and spatial relationships. ... ( Parker drops the ball every week, Croker's cant pass, kick or run, Garrick's slow, slow ,slow - what does this mean Des?)

New problems with words in speaking or writing. .. (watch any pressers, interviews)

Decreased or poor judgment (Croker, Parker, Garrick, Boyle, Goseiwski are NRL players in his mind)

Well no-one can deny we are in a hole and in the world of NRL a few losses always leads to speculation, mounting pressure, next minute things can unravel. And we have had a lot more than 'a few' losses.
Interesting times for sure.
and as I just outlined in another post - we have a massive roster overhaul coming at the end of this year. 10 contracts end at the end of the year and at least 6/7/maybe 8 of those players will not be offered a new contract.

What makes them expert coaches or advisors. Des' passport should of been stamped after he walked out on us. Had enough of his cr@p, has done nothing for years in any club.

John Morris had his head on the chopping block a few weeks ago , a couple of wins and he’s a superstar
Morris head will be back on the block very soon Mark. Beating Cows and dragons ain’t much of a marker. He won’t be there next year.

Fair point, but the whole reason they were brought in as specialists in the first place, is that the club didn't even have specialists when Hasler re-joined (this was one of Barrett's gripes)

I think Trbojevic improved once Stewart joined, I'm so far unconvinced by Monaghan and Ballin though.

That said, if they're on unders (an assumption) because the club hasn't invested in people who are proven to know what they're doing, I see that as a club problem, and I'm not going to bag Des for trying it.

OMG mate what are you on?
WTF does this all this blind irrational f***ing optimism come from.

Des is the worst coach in the NRL.
No game plan, no idea on selection and is like a rambling moron whenever asked a question. (see his The Fan interview - the guy may have first stages dementure)

I love the club but I have almost come to terms that it is better if we do lose every game and finish with the spoon because it seems that might be the only way Des is getting sacked.
Your barking up the wrong tree mate. @Mark from Brisbane hasn't been overly keen on Des since he departed in 2011.

Decent article, though I suspect there’s no way des walks away on his own.
I thought that article was pretty accurate particularly about our current situation. Not sure about the Matai Stewart situation but that is kind of irrelevant at the moment given our dire situation.

I get the feeling things are being put in place for Fulton to be our next coach.
Didn't he "retire" when the integrity (or intoddgrity) unit were investigating us for salary cap issues ?? Did they ever catch up with him when he got back from Fiji and clear the air ?? Or is he still a "person of interest" that needs approval before accepting any official roles.

there was a lot of subjective BS in that pile of poo.

Marty 'fan favourite' ??? What? he's never really been the fan favourite more like an outsider doing it for the pay check.

Paseka dropping off in form? he's been one of our shining lights especially these last few weeks. took it to the panthers like a one man missile last week.

'proven low budget Danny Levi' was....... rubbish. had his chance and blew it im afraid.

'Tevita Funa started to shine at fullback'...... was that during our run of defeats last year? He's an ok depth player but wasn't a fullbacks arsehole in all honesty.

And the best part - TURBO.... when he plays we win what? 70% of games and when he doesnt.... 20%. pretty obvious top even a blind Lionel Ritchie that TT is the most important player in this club.

There were a few good points in there but it just read like it was written by one of the many boo boys out for blood at the moment. Sure lets rid the club of Des but wait. no mention of a suitable replacement or even a plan.....
