Definitely had some connection for a while and coinciding with Fulton"s return in 1983 or so . Would have been mainly Packer"s financial input that would have delivered Wally Lewis and Gene Miles to Manly in 1987 . Great players but personally pleased that they eventually did not make the move , did not really need them with the strength of the side then and club image wise as well
