Salary Cap Witch Hunt. **Appeal unsuccessful**

I wonder how this fool gets all the "scoops".
He says the NRL want to now what the Granny gets for her 3rd party deals... she doesn't have to get a thing does she.. Its money she gives to the players and it appears all above board and detailed to the NRL. As far as the other 2 players saying they are owed money with no contract or deal put in place...stiff sh1t isn't it???
This is sounding more and more of a bullsh1t story by the day

An absolute witch hunt, meanwhile the James Maloney “ gaff” confirming that the Panthers just had to get the Keno TPA properly sorted just gets wiped under the carpet.

One thinks that Greenslime is doing all in his power to wipe the floor of his hated Sea Eagles.

100% agree Mark. Toddburg has his own agenda against Manly and its plain to see, but no one will agree

Channel 7 just revealed the Grandma at the centre of this issue is ‘Brenda’. I’m sure many on this forum would know her and the passion she has for the club. We’re all backing you Brenda!
Bastards. She asked that her name not be revealed - see Ritchie vid. And this is why I was so cranky about the 'granny' label. She is a lawyer who is still practising. The granny label completely diminishes one of our very best (and kind) Manly fans.

So I also wonder how the thoroughbreds support the Broncos players without any contact from the club. What they randomly call some players and say " hello, you need some cash"???... THis really is gunna put egg on Greenturds face the more i hear about it. Its a joke.

Someone start a petition to get Greensprog out.

I bet you 95% of supporters across the entire league would sign it. Would just have to drop the link in a few places and it would explode I reckon.

This 5% at Belmore wouldn't sign it!

Brenda is at every game, home and away, rain or shine

I actually thought that she was a lower court judge, but definitely smarter than anyone in NRLHQ :nerd:

She has tried to help Fiz as he began his downward spiral.

If Fiz couldn't fullfil his TPA commitments, she could easily submit his publicized mental health records to the NRL.@

It would have broken her heart to watch him gamble away his future @

Lets hope that the rumours of his involvement in this saga doesn't send him over the edge @:worried:

Manly Sea Eagles CoO faces NRL expulsion over salary cap infringements
DEAN RITCHIE, The Daily Telegraph

MANLY chief operating officer Neil Bare faces the prospect of being kicked out of rugby league over his alleged role in Manly’s salary cap infringements.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal Bare is the second club official facing deregistration after being issued with a show-cause notice by the NRL.

It comes just 24 hours after Sydney Roosters chief executive Joe Kelly, the former Sea Eagles boss, was revealed as the other NRL club official to face deregistration.

Kelly and Bare worked together at Brookvale when the alleged third-party breaches occurred.

The Sydney Roosters will staunchly defend Kelly, who returns from a trip to Bali on Friday.

Well-placed sources claim Kelly is a man of integrity who has enormous support in the game.

Bare was overlooked for the Manly CEO job last month when co-owner Scott Penn appointed Lyall Gorman as club boss.

The respected Gorman has walked into a storm at Brookvale but vowed to lead Manly out of the dramas.

“My focus is to put every ounce of energy into making sure this is a great club for many, many years to come. These issues need to be confidently led in how we manage them from a transparency and integrity point of view,” Gorman said.

Manly’s front office, according to former staff members, offered up a “toxic” work environment before Gorman arrived.

Yep know Brenda well, very very passionate supporter!

Been on many of my MWTS trips in years gone by, but never knew she provided TPA money.

I only know of Brenda and see her on game day but I’m certain she would have never done anything that could possibly come back to hurt the club. She seems as passionate as any fan the club has.

I know exactly how the Thoroughbreds operate, if you want to know PM me!

I was thinking more like, let's honestly hope he hasn't tried to sell out someone so close to him.
