Easy when you buy half of PenrithThe Dogs are one hell of a side this year.

Ivan Cleary is clearly (excuse the poor pun) the only one who fits the criteria. Most want the next coach to be a “ Manly man “ and fair enough but pray tell me WHO.
We could only but dream but yes that wouldn’t fit into the standard grant amount so , zero chanceIvan Cleary is clearly (excuse the poor pun) the only one who fits the criteria.
But unfortunately with our tight-arsed, short-sighted, self-absorbed owner, it aint NEVER going to happen :-(
Which is exactly what they didEasy when you buy half of Penrith
including the coach.Easy when you buy half of Penrith
Sadly probably not much.I’m expecting he’ll be sacked , but seriously , who’s the replacement and with our existing systems , ownership , roster , will it make any difference ???
Penrith are the Nirvana of football clubs. They make others better while continuing to set records which will never be broken. Two in a row was deemed nigh on impossible for 30 years and they are trying to make it five on the hop.Easy when you buy half of Penrith
But it’ll make the ASC happy ( for a while ).Sadly probably not much.
Oh but you’re obviously satisfied with mediocrity 😂The one question that the ASC mostly avoid is “ if you sack the coach then who’s the next coach “.
These are the ones thrown about
Ballin , moved his whole life up to Brisbane , remarried , new wife’s parents live here ( she’s pregnant ) , doing very nicely in the Broncos / Queensland system , highly ( very highly ) unlikely to want to move back to Sydney.
Des, god help us , if that were to happen I’d be ready to take a long term hiatus.
Gifty , zero coaching experience , not interested , just started a new business.
Snake , limited coaching experience , not interested , helping Gifty.
Watmough , currently involved in the juniors , may be an option in the future but doubt ready now.
Toovey , been there done that , Penn wouldn’t have him back so forget that option.
Most want the next coach to be a “ Manly man “ and fair enough but pray tell me WHO.
Others
Ennis , does he even want to be a coach , he has a lucrative FOX contract and gets paid for specialist coaching roles.
Hannay, might be a good option but more likely to go to a QLD side , Titans probably.
That’s about the limit of the ones I can think about , so sure , sack the current coach.
BUT
Who’s next up ???
Not really any “ issues “ as such , other than they are owners unwilling to spend loads of extra dollars that are necessary today for success.I’m interested to know what these issues are you’re referring to in regards to the Penns
So I’ve been told , countless times !!Oh but you’re obviously satisfied with mediocrity 😂
It would be nice to bring Ivan Cleary home, but there is about as much chance of that as there is of me winning Le Mans.....
They either don't answer or come up with coaches that are unproven and Barrett level picksThe one question that the ASC mostly avoid is “ if you sack the coach then who’s the next coach “.

Anti Seibold Crew aka as Anti Seibold Society (ASS)Just because I am slow, what does ASC stand for?
It will take years of rebuilding from the junior rosters up before this club will see any success no matter who is coach. Until that begins then get used to mediocre results and mid to lower table finishes.
And do you think Scott Penn had the stomach for that ??You could bring in Bellamy, Bennett, Cleary, in fact any of them and it won't make a difference. Look at where our reserve and junior teams sit. Last or near to it in all grades including the women. The culture through the whole club is trashed. Who is coming through in NSW Cup screaming to be a 1st grader. None. We have a now aged roster with only Olakau'atu, Koula , Hopoate as real future stars. It will take years of rebuilding from the junior rosters up before this club will see any success no matter who is coach. Until that begins then get used to mediocre results and mid to lower table finishes.
Weirdly, I think Seibs might actually be in the "sack Seibs" camp.Is Seibs in the sack Seibs camp? Didn’t he say we were in a premiership window?
Yep, for as long as we are shackled to this owner nothing will change. The rut that this club is currently in started when Penn got full ownership of the place. That's when rot set in and it will continue to rot away at this once great club for as long Penn is still in place.People can blame the coach until the cows come home but regardless of who is the coach not much will actually change, as the coach can only do so much.
