Sack Penn!!!!!!!

So your happy to support a complete incompetent owner, who success so far is selling diets to fat people ?
Happy to support status quo, don't like my opinion mute me. But it's just the start Penn is in radar
I am not happy and my previous passionate post about our Legendary clubs high standards verifies this

But Every human being deserves to be treated with respect and we must also respect all others as we respect our selves

I hope we all respect our selves on this site because respect comes from within

Respect works both ways, given this owner shown complete arrogance to the supporter group. Is what it is, with greatest respect you have a very soft under belly.

Well you're definitely a pretty special character @BOZO I will give you that.
Every one is unique and special including you feathered friend

And that is why we should all respect each other even though we may not agree with each other
That is the first thing we are taught at kindergarten school

But we are all grown ups now and it is about time we conduct our selves like mature adults

Sorry @BOZO I have zero respect for Scott Penn. This is extremely unlikely to change. I will leave it at that.

Be interesting to have some idea of how the other privately owned N R L franchises operate or their general formats with money injection and so on . Doesn 't seem to be any issues with the likes of the Storm or Warriors in terms of sufficient financial input ,not sure about the Titans . Big ask pumping in a mil plus contribution for any operating shortfall , noy sure that it would be a given with some other group or consortium . Guess if somebody like U R M hypothetically did take over , would then be a big gap in general sponsorship revenue if they took on the main task of just covering basic operating costs . Manly just are not in a good position since re forming as a single entity in securing sufficient income year in year out in covering even basic costs , At least the Penns and following the admirable input from Delmege have been prepared to cover it ,

Would have to assume helpful to have all aspects of a club 's functioning under some type of review after a generally difficult season for one reason or another . Highly doubt however if it mattered who had general or majority ownership of the club in 22 season , Problems and disappointing outcomes could surely only be attributed to the playing [ team or individually ] , coaching factors , to a limited extent the jersey gate matter . Some positives and the above average negative aspects had very little to do with the ownership factor and won"t improve until some things are sorted at the playing , coaching level . Injuries issues aside .

The shame about threads like this is that it reduces the actual conversation / analysis of the Penn family ownership.

I know people are upset. But despite the money Penn has made, it appears he's facilitating change (all be it with different points of view on the incoming applicants). We could well go into next season, with the following changes:

CEO - Tony Mestrov
CCO - Craig Meagher
Pathways - Laurie Daley
Head Coach - ABC
Assistant 1 - DEF
Assistant 2 - GHI
Strength / Conditioning / Fitness - ??? (do they change if Des goes?)
Recruitment - assume the Fulton's stay. Crusher might be gone, and we'd need a replacement? Maybe Daley brings in a small team?

That's a complete overhaul, and really exciting to be honest. We just have to give it a chance ! Never know, the lines of command could be re-instituted (players knowing their places).

That's also actually a lot of money for Scott Penn to outlay, and if this IS the case, don't forget the $800k - $1M he'd be paying Des.

It is an interesting one as there are a number of changes but there does not appear to be the correct governance in place. The way they are handling the whole Des change has seemed pretty amateur to me (even though they might actually have a plan)

I would be excited to see the club invest in the membership / marketing / fan engagement side of the business
