I agree with everything you say except I’m not as harsh on him in regards to his ability to play without TomT.A fair chunk of his tries have come from DCE and to a lesser extent,Harper.I just think that Tom attracts more attention which gives the others time.TomT doesn’t necessarily set him up every time

DCE's deliveries have not been as pin point and just off the mark to be effective for Saab, but geez some of you still watch the game through the eyes of a 6 year old not noticing the things that go on off the ball. Saab is constantly escorted and worked off the ball being such a threat he is, his defense has improved 100% and takes some tough hit ups. DCE just needs to get the accuracy more spot on and he'll take more of those high balls then he misses.

I actually thought he was holding his shoulder, which wouldn’t be surprising as nearly every tackle Hodgson made looked like he was trying to rip the player’s arm off. Quite a few chicken wing tackles last night that the ref turned a blind eye to

Saabs was a 50/50 call, i thought he still had fingers on the ball as he went to put it down, seen those given plenty of times.

Garricks was 100% a try after ball was kicked out of his hands and he re gathered to score, didn't think you could kick at the ball in stopping the try - Matthew Ridge was the reason that rule was implemented. If the kick wasn't intentional neither was Aloiai's then - we lost both 50/50 calls and Aioiai's was the biggest call of the game, could have had massive implications with a better team attacking our line. goes to show they got the bigger rub of the green than we did.

Also, Toms try was a try, he controlled the ball rolling it down his torso have watched it 20 times, that is controlling the ball!! Bunker got it 100% correct. He never lost control. Fox and Barrett need to look up definition of control - dumb a*ses

It looked like a try to me, to the commentators and to the referee. It's only when the Bunker gets involved that the sport becomes an episode of CSI.
Do we really want to analyse decisions in slow-motion? What relevance does that have in the real world? Do we really want vital decisions made via a TV screen by some human when the human on the spot (the ref) has a far better appreciation of the real action?
Why have we given the Bunker such sweeping powers, usurping the powers of the referee? If this trend continues there will be a call to eliminate touch judges; why shouldn't we rely on TV coverage instead of those two humans carrying flags?

Saab has one attribute better than anybody else in the NRL ... he can run very very fast in a straight line and score a try ... he is also good at passing to a support player if needed ... this should be enough for him to earn a pretty good 1st grade career ...

But, he is a long way short of being a complete footballer, and as long as his strengths out weigh his weaknesses he is of value ... but some days that distinction is going to be very debatable ..

The bunker had already ruled on it .. asking the bunker to challenge their own ruling would require a strong belief in Divine Intervention to overturn themselves ..

I love what Saab brings to our side, but there is a but and I see what Woodsie is saying, however tackle efficiency and ball control will all improve, it’s a work in progress and you wouldn’t swop what he brings to the side, speed, long range try scoring, good under the high ball, there’s work to do for sure but I’m super happy to have him in the side, we have needed speed on our edges for such a long time, hopefully in time his game will or can be developed into one similar to the level of Tupou’s

I think Saab was suffering from a condition on the weekend that most of our players were struggling with. Namely the "we'll win this easy" mindset. After about 20 minutes the boys were far too flat in attack and too many times players received the ball standing flat footed. We won't compete in the semi finals if we bring that level of performance. I expect the boys to bounce back next week.

I am speaking general to the way you worded your comment... im not the one with the agenda here. To your point I said ALL players have strengths and weaknesses and they get debated time to time or have you never paid attention to this forum? I didn't say Saab doesn't have weaknesses. The coach will be the judge on when someone's weakness outweighs his value not me or you. But if youre asking my opinion which I never gave earlier, I think he is pretty safe of late, Jake gives away more 6 agains than anyone which can be argued puts more pressure on the team than any other individual player does hence tiring the team which can lead to others producing handling errors its all relative... when should it be debated about Jakes place on the team? I still wouldnt drop him or Saab or maybe you prefer Jorge back.
