Never paid any attention to him, thought he was just the bloke on the panel who was supposed to guide the ex-footy players through the various segments.

Until a few weeks ago - when the ex-players (even Daley) were saying that the media beat-up over the Bookie brawl was ridiculous and no-one should miss any finals - and Mr Phelan in a very authoritative tone said no they were very wrong, and gave a little speech defending his masters' editorial policies. Never had much cred anyway but lost it all forever with me at that moment.

There was a manly nut with a flag in bay 34 running up and down the stairs and looked like he should have been wearing a bulldog jersey. We saw him pick a fight with a guy leaving with hs mum...very poor form. But we sat with 3 broncos fans and all the manly crew near us were joking with them all game. Great atmosphere all round...cant wait to see the maroon and white and our home jumper on the field for the GF.

That same bloke got escorted out of the SFS at the Roosters game earlier this year too for trying to pick fights with their supporters.

Are you talking about the tweet where he said something along the lines of "I know I'm a Broncos fan but the refs performance in the first 20 minutes will ensure that there is a Sydney team in the GF"?

He seems to have deleted it. Not very professional for a sports commentator to come up with such one-sided drivel. He should cop a $10K fine...

Yea lol I replied that I cancelled my foxtel because of him. Lol I didn't.

It really is disgraceful. I would report it to the Foxtel CEO and the NRL if we had lost - but as we have won I will have better things to do this week! 🙂

Yeah I think I know the guy you are talking about. I've only ever seen him at games at the SFS but he always seems to be causing trouble. I saw him get spoken to by the cops at the cowboys game in week 1 as well.

I have to say although he made an absolute goose of himself i was kind of thinking that at least he is as passionate as a terrorist and loves his club. But he went seriously over the top bloody funny to watch he was nearly crying.
