I know we have alot of talent in the outside backs, but a mate of mine has told me Junior Sau is off contract and already in talks with Manly. Being Matai's cousin, it could be a possibilty. Robbo should probably head to England and get great $$$ while he can, Wolf and Trex maybe playing for another contract.

As the weekend showed, theres no point in having classy backs if we don't get any decent go forward. A good prop or 2 would put us in good stead.

That signing makes next to no sense to me unless we were planning on releasing Killer.

We still need Robbo. We need an experienced finisher and defender like him who doesn't get injured and can slot into other places. He has been the only consistent player in our backline over the past 2 - 3 years

Robbo will not go to England and he wont leave Manly. Wolfie will need to hit the ground running when he is fit - Oldfield could take his place fulltime.
Manlys biggest problem is with the Salary Cap to hold their juniors. We will lose either Oldfield, Hoppa Jnr or Buhrer because of upgrades to other players.

I wouldn't be surprised if we are without both Wookie & Robbo next year. I can only see Wookie staying if he takes a hefty pay cut, other clubs would be keen on having him as well.

If you had to choose between the two, Robbo is definitely the one to pick but he may want a bit more than the club can give.

Resign Hoppa & Oldfield instead & put the change from that towards getting some better depth in the front row.

No thank you. Hoppa Jnr made him look ordinary. At his best he is a strong runner but I doubt his best is ahead of him. At this stage signing him would be a backward step.

I am quite happy with the backs we have, as well as the youngsters coming through. With cap restraints it will be hard enough keeping some of them.

To me the only reason they would be interested in sau who is a fair player, is if the are resigned to losing someone like hoppa.

Hoppa is going to be a superstar, he is only 18/19, we cannot let go of him, local kid who youngsters can look up to.

Signing Hoppa Jr. has to be a priority for us this year. Can play anywhere in the outside backs with no trouble. He is still very young but has made the step up to NRL level with no problem. A must to re-sign.

Probably shipping off Kelly and douglas for extra money for snowden. Bennett won't take snowden because he knows he's one dimensional and will develop any of the knights props to his level at half the price

Where did you hear about Kelly? Seems odd he would go there. They just resigned Sutton and Kelly can't play in the 7 as was proven at lower grades. Seems odd to finally get your position in frist grade then change to a club who is using you as a backup. Sutton is junk but they didn't resign him to not play him. I'm not surprised he is changing clubs its just his choice of Southsthat seems odd.

One dimensional? Does he want him to be able to chip kick? Actually I think Snowden has one of the better all round games for prop in the comp. He's got a high workrate, can play longer than 20 minute stints which most props struggle to get through. He's got a decent off load in him and actually can break the line as we saw when he played us. He's also very young. Not wanting to break the bank is the only reason you wouldn't want him.
