Round Six, 2020. NON Manly games.

Wow this game is showing how average we really are. Knights are coasting in this. The donkeys are deadset rubbish.
Raiders will absolutely smash us especially with no Marty.

To be fair, last week in the first half Brisbane also rarely dropped the ball. Tonight they've really given up possession too easily at times.

I think we're all in for a dose of reality check with this side this year. I have no confidence in our halves ability to control the game and then look at our backs. Slowest in the competition. Funa, Parker and Elliot.....please god help us.

Newcastle did the job tonight - last week we scrapped through. We need to be so much better than we were last week. If we're not Canberra will maul us big time.

If the Donkeys get done by the Titans next week, surely that’s it for Seibold.
I don’t know how Milford could look his team mates in the eye after that non-performance.
And Matt Lodge is just an A-grade grub. They should’ve never have let him back in the NRL. Clearly unhinged.

They can’t turn back on Seibold yet.
If they believe in his plan, short term pain for the long haul then they must stick.
If they dump him, there’s no short term fix as their roster is geared toward his plan.
Agree Lodge is a grub, under pressure and it shows.
Pangai also, potential shoulder charge tonight plus he was lucky he didn’t go to the bin with Carrigan as i thought he threw a punch in the argy bargy.

Not a classic shoulder charge but he made no attempt to wrap his his arms around or tackle Klemmer.
I think that is a key indicator.
Yes, it wasn't close to a typical shoulder charge, he didn't turn side-on. I think it is within the rules to push someone using your arms/hands as the contact point. We will see what they rule but I thought it was ok.
He wasn't even penalised was he?

Brisbane did make us work for the win last week but the score Newcastle put on them last night was the score I hoped we would have put on them last week

WOW just WOW. Just watched Ch7 report on last nights game. Knights won 27-6 if I recall YET They showed a big hit by junior penguin on Klemmer (which looked like a shoulder charge to me but no mention of that) and the lone donkey try (which was a lucky intercept). Nothing of the knights. Was the same crap on Ch9 footy show last Sunday. Sorry media but no matter how much you try to dress them up they're still just a turd. Suck on it donkeys.

David Fifita may lift them a little bit , Jack Bird "s contract impact and his injury prone time with them is no doubt a negative as well . Started the season well but must be some underlying problems there . Don "t have too much sympathy for them however

Funny thing is, we get the same two points for a win against Brisbane that Newcastle, Easts and Doesn'tmatta did. It doesn't really matter how many points you win by.
Every team will have poor performances during the season. There is only one thing to focus on: the upcoming match. There is no point in sulking about the match just played.
I'm a believer in hoodoos. The clubs that we have a major statistical win/loss advantage over are Canberra, Cronulla and Newcastle - the three teams we meet next.
If we win these three, as history tells as we should, then we'll probably be close to leading the comp come round nine.
