Round Six, 2020. NON Manly games.

Broncos obviously have some glaring issues, but non so bad as the inability to roll the sleeves up and getting dirty....keep trying trick shots on early tackles but no one except Lodge and the wingers are willing to take ugly hitups to lay any sort of foundation and the halves arn't helping....just part of the porridge getting slapped around in the bowl.....
The young bloke Deardon can play, has been healthy for a while, yet still getting splinters.
There's trouble up the top right through the coaching, management...all of it.
Sooner their nomad coach stops making excuses and makes some tough calls with the addition of Fifita, will again have an NRL standard team...atm they are Titans Little brother...

I can"t tell you how surprised I am at the Broncos decline. On paper their squad looks good and with Seibold into his second year I expected them to be a top 4 side. I am not disappointed seeing them fail in view of the huge advantages they have over the majority of remaining NRL clubs.

Have just been looking around at comments made by Drongos fans after last night and this one on Facebook takes the prize.....

"When the stadiums re-open, give Milford a job in the merchandise booth. At least he might do some work that way".

Some may not agree but really, Brisbane aren't as bad a side as they are currently showing. They did win their opening two games before the season got shut down, and they did show in the first half against us last week that they can play good football given a decent share of possession.

The problem for them is that the first half last week was the ONLY time since the season re-started that they have shown any sort of good form (had to be against us didn't it ... bastards). And even then they couldn't go on with it because in the end we overran them for the win.

Their pack, despite all the hype of having players like Haas, Lodge, Pangai Jr. etc, is out of form. Before the shutdown, Lodge was even being touted as a NSW Origin pick, now he'd be behind Steve Roach who retired at the end of 1992. Boyd, while not really doing much wrong, is basically just going through the motions and their dummy half situation is bordering on diabolical (their only try assist last night came from McCollough ... and he's now playing for Newcastle!!). The only bright spots I have seen in them are Coates, Oates and Croft, who unlike Milford at least is trying.

Interesting stat. Since taking over as coach up there, Seibold had been in charge for 31 games and has now compiled a 13-17-1 record (41.94%). Win percentage wise, that is just 2.2% more than Zoolander's record with us from 2016-18, and I'm guessing Seibold doesn't have to bring his own garden chairs.

What a joke. How absolutely suspicious is this adjudicating. Even the TV coverage was reluctant to show the replay and held it back as long as possible hoping the game would get started. Loose arm across the guy's head.. oh, it's superstar Latrell, so all good.

I really, really hate to say it but Mitchell may be a good player and may turn out to be a good fullback. Gunna need to drink a lot of beer to get the taste out of my mouth.

This is an absolute rort against the Warriors. Trell knocks winger out around the head as he’s about to score. Then throws a 2 metre forward pass for a try. And all you get is Blockhead pissing in Trells pocket. You’d have put a brick threw the Tele by now if you’re a Warriors fan. Trell can do no wrong.
