Good entertainers though....the tackling side no one can argue is ordinary.
But the attacking flair they put on tonight is reserved to a handful of natural talent in today’s game.

Actually selected Roberts and Mitchell in my Origin team in other forums threads but after tonight I think Atkin and Trbojevic should be selected.

I still think Tom will get picked on the wing and they'll go for specialist centres. I think that it'll be between Mitchell, Roberts and Aitken for the NSW #'s 3 and 4.

It all comes down to the ridiculous rule that the player in defence is responsible for the welfare of the player with the ball.
But amazingly the NRL isn't the only code with the idea.

Nic Natanui from West Coast made a brilliant below the shoulders tackle the other week but got suspended because the player getting tackled got hurt. Apparently now a tackler has to take into account their comparative size and strength difference in order to determine how hard they can tackle an opponent. All in a split second.
The world has gone soft.

Roberts and Mitchell are two of the best centres you'll see in the modern game.....with the ball in hand.

But neither can tackle to save themselves, let alone their teams.

Going by that logic, if it happened today Choc would have been suspended for half a season for his tackle on Rob Burrow in the 2009 WCC. Its bull, pure out of its backside bull.

How many times with the ball in hand did Tooves get cleaned up by the likes of Geyer, Sironen, Roach, Harragon etc. Its a CONTACT SPORT.

I know its just a quote from a movie, but its the same thing. "This is a karate dojo, not a knitting class". Its a professional contact sport played by grown men. Little Johnny doesn't get a trophy just for participating.
