Robert Finch quits

Reading from somewhere else where i couldnt log in i noticed a post above all others

It regarded hiring a retired ESL ref to be the NRL head coach,i think this idea is particularly brillaint

Harrigan has to go too.
I hate that bastard

MCcaullum did a good job in england and clark wouldnt be bad either.

We have to take away the ego element that is Harrigan and i think that is half the problem with the referees is the lack of accountabilty and the attempts to justify their **** ups.

That smells of harrigan arrogance more than Finch incompentce.

Clark is an ego manic tool of the first and highest order.
I'll never forget the dickhead getting involved and gesturing at us fans who sit in the seats just below where the vid refs sit when he gave a dodgy ruling against Manly at Brookie.
He should be above that but he couldn't help himself.
He is a clown and a wanker.

We all know how Harrigan feels about Manly, Steve Clark is a biased Dogs supporter but I can't remember how I felt about Greg McCallum. He's probably the best of a bad bunch or is the memory just fading? It has to be 15 - 20 years since he retired, right?

From memory, it was McCallum who awarded the infamous Kerrod Walters 'Basket Ball' try against Manly which directly resulted in the introduction of in-goal touch judges.

Has to be outsourced, non biased officiating, such as international cricket
Yes, and incorporating 2 of the earlier suggestions, how about Ashley Klein with Ricky Stuart as his deputy?
