I thought he was total pants.. for the biggest man on the field he did fkin nothing.
Needs to be pissed of to reserve grade.

I thought he was actually better last week. Today he looked like he was channelling T-Rex.

He needs a little advice from Foz.

Had to run up the shops and catch the end on the radio, right at the end Jake yells out "want to tell.us what kind of team we are now?"
Must have been yelling at someone in the raiders

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was at that big dopey bloodnut who has achieved nothing in league but chats like he is the big dog

I also can’t believe some are still drilling Paseka

Utterly proud of this team and devastated regarding injuries at the same time.

Only positive on Turbo is that the injury is lower as opposed to the injury last year up towards the glute according to Nathan Gibbs, this was evident in the sheds with those shots of him showing the ice low on that hamstring.

Look I’m not having a go here at dce but to play as a halfback only to kick into touch on tackle 5 to give our forwards a rest isn’t enough. He needs to run the ball more similar to what most of the other halfbacks do.There were so many holes in that canberra defence tonight dce could have ran into they looked as tired as us but he chooses not to.

In one of the Friday night matches the commentators noted that DCE had more runs than any other halfbacks in the comp.

What a great win, came at the expense of some key players but if someone told me we would lose Turbo, Walker and Parker and still beat a full strength Canberra i wouldn't have believed them.
Since the comeback of Des that is the best win we have had and unlike last yr when Turbo went down and thought the sky is falling... in Des i trust!!!! Huge effort by the boys and immensly proud to be a Sea Eagle fan today, well as any day really

I know Elliott will fill in at fullback and give his all while Tommy is out, but I still reckon his best position is centre. One dud decision in defence, but he was regularly skipping past Crocker when we had the ball.

He may have set up their only try (by running past a back rower playing out of position), but we saw today why Croker has never been picked for NSW or Australia. His defence generally sucks for a centre. Elliot, a part time first grader at best throughout his career so far, made him look average a lot of the time and you could see Croker was getting more and more frustrated.

Canberra fans constantly screaming for Croker to be picked for Origin reminds me of Souffs fans constantly screaming for Nathan Merrit to be picked. They think he's a superstar when everyone else see's them as average at best.

Soon as Walkz went down i knew we would ... love this club. You wont see parra do anything close to that

If the Worms lost Brown, Jennings and Gutherson during the course of a game, they would struggle big time. Even more so if they went into games already missing other regular starters like a front rower, centre and winger (e.g. Paulo, Blake and Sivo/Ferguson).

Turbo has plenty of dedication and he'll just have to become expert at managing his hammies.
He could take some inspiration from Tedesco who had a succession of serious leg injuries when he first burst on the scene, but he worked very hard and eventually came back better than ever.

That's the gutsiest win by Manly I've seen since 2008 (vs Eels when we were down to 12.5 players, with Bryant on one leg). Loved their grit and determination tonight against a bigger, more experienced and full strength Raiders side :inlove:

It was so good to see DCE revving and encouraging the players, particularly the young ones in the last quarter of the game - something I wish he would do more often.

A wonderful team performance and I'm so proud of them!

Great win against the Raiders at the end of last season but yesterday was even better in the courage and resilience stakes . Defense and discipline seemed to be the key and to ideally continue with . Still quite a lot of attacking ability right through the remaining fit squad and to still hopefully get enough points to make them competitive and also for Reuben to continue to have his kicking radar going well .

We wont win a premiership on yesterdays performance but it will help us have a chance. I hear the commentators say roosters and eels on the top shelf. Raiders and us on next level. We beat the roosters and the eels .. well.!!!! To get 2 points against the raiders under those circumstances was massive. The guys out on their feet and yet did not try any quick fix ideas by attempting to move the ball about. They trusted their defense. The running the ball on 6th tackle showed their mindset. So proud of them.

During the pre match show on Fox yesterday they panned to the Manly dressing rooms & DCE was standing there having a laugh with some of the other guys & looked really relaxed.

That gave me the first inking we might win yesterday.

Obviously that evaporated pretty quickly upon Walker & Parker going down but started coming back after our gutsy performance to defend & then score the first try, despite Canberra having so much possession prior to that.

Great effort all around from every one of the boys.
