That said, this is exactly the type of game we pull a rabbit out and win. Unlikely I know, but nothing surprises me with this team.
I wouldn't b surprised at all as our win rates down here is pretty good, bout 60-70% but with a different team I suppose. I ve only missed 1 game down here I think. Maybe it's because of me and the boys yelling our heads off all those years fighting da faiders supporters for all y'all Eagles. The boys convinced me to go as I didn't want to go and watch a slaughter. I've a week to think bout it, and I've been looking forwards to this game all year. We still have a chance so I'm going to cheers for da boys.

Stumbling home after the games for 30yrs as I only lived 5mins away, what ever memories Ive were good memories leaving Bruce stadium. Specially meeting legends of the games and our club afterwards. Also this might b like the storm game where we surprised the world.

Well, we've had some good wins in Canberra over the years. The one that sticks out is the game Schuster and Tommy ran riot, the Faders were all over the shop as we racked up a big score on them. Could this happen again, we can dream can't we.

Yes, cliffy used to toy with them regularly down there. Only way we win now is if Tommy turns back the clock to 2021.

Check out the Faders forum, they aren't confident at all, most saying Manly by 30 some by 50 ...lol. The Saints win has them really spooked. Could we ?...stranger things have happened.
That's hilarious. Your team is running first and you're worried about a basket case of a club like Manly? Although it's good to know that all sporting forums are filled with cranky pessimistic old f#cks and it's not just us🙂

Schoupp is an interesting addition , no doubt to cover Chee Kam .
Doubt if he would instead start ahead of Chee Kam but maybe not too far into the game
Only rationale to start with Chee Kam , looks like still has kept his mobility but surely must have been some serious consideration for Navale on the bench to allow Jake at some stage to prop and Bully starting in the 2 nd row .
Maybe Schoupp can show that he does have something really worthwhile to offer on an edge in i st grade and guess that we will soon find out.
Also the option of moving Jazz to 13 and Jake to prop at some stage so again a bit of a punt on best suited forward combinations and Raiders pack does seem on the quality side right now
Really hope that Turbo can really make a mark again at the back , running a bit better lately and even though the Raiders defence looks to be in quite reasonable order , some average sides have been apparently pushing them lately so one never knows
If D C E and Brookie can play to a good level and the pack can get close to holding their own and use the more mobile guys like T K O , Bully , M C K and Scoupp to best effect , could make a game of it but are going to have to work their backsides off in the process to help with the opportunity to keep the season even partly alive .

We HAVE had some great wins in Canberra and the most recent one comes to mind, being at their stadium last year for the first time and to see us flog them was so good.
Yes, we can dream, and (some of us) will.

I don't mind Schoupp on the bench. He runs hard, tackles hard so interested to see if he can transition to 2nd row. Has the basic attributes to make a go of it.
