Not sure about that theory these days but I know for a fact 10 or so years ago,a regular bench player at the club was always named in an odd/strange numbered jersey because all the particular numbered jersey in the club you thought he’d wear,didn’t fit him

Disappointed to see DeLuis dropped and Siro retained.

Des has been mixing up the 18-21 for a while now. Last week Burbo was in the initial 21.
Maybe his way of keeping some of the fringe/back ups motivated however this week may be more to it as Funa hasn’t been in the swuad for a while from memory.

I actually don’t mind Sirro playing in the middle, as a Bench player. his defending has been his best asset for about the last three years now, and since he’s lost his pace and steps back into the ruck it kind of works that he comes on against a tiring opposition.

Plus he’s a big unit, so doesn’t easily get rolled over. Fairly quick play the ball.
