Yeah I know we’d all love it to be us , and I guess you never know but realistically whilst I think we’ll improve really well this year I think Premiers is a bridge ( or two ) too far.

No, rather it’s “ can the Panthers do the unthinkable and win 5 in a row “??

Or is it the Drizzles to lose ??

Or will AFB take the Sharks all the way.

What’s everyone’s thoughts.

I think sharks will be in the race for the minor premiership, they will definitely put some big scores on the poor teams this year but can’t see them doing much in the finals with Hynes at half. Storm deserve to be hot favs this year & I think they will get it done

Top 4
Brisbane
Cronulla
Storm
Manly
The winner will be one of these
Can’t split broncos manly Sharks to fight out the big one
So here we go
Sharks to knock out broncos
Manly to beat sharks in GF
and turbo to light up the playoffs
Go manly says
Go manly

Yeah I’m thinking the Panther are going to sink badly this year.

They will really really miss the two players that have changed clubs.

I have no idea who will be 2025 Premiers. I don’t rate the Sharks or Broncos & really don’t understand the hype. Panthers & Storm will be up there! Sea Eagles can also, as long as injuries don’t decimate us & our defense improves. Bulldogs & Titans to make up the top 5. Warriors, Cowgirls, Sharks to complete the 8…….dunno Lolol.

1. Storm - Best spine depth out of all the squads.
2. Panthers- Henry will step up and replace JFH, Isaah Yeo gun player.
3. Donkeys- Good depth in the forwards,
4. Sharks- Better team with AFB.
5. Manly- Depth in the three quarters is very strong and Turbo.
6. Bulldogs- Their spine lacks X factor.
7. Vermin- Good squad, Latrell is their key.
8. Titans- Good forward depth.

I am thinking the other way with the Panthers, Henry is a very good footballer and will be better this season along with Patea pushing for a bench spot.

If Yeo stays fit they will be tough to beat, can do the ball playing and make good yardage along with his defensive efforts.

If they win again , I doubt it’ll ever be repeated

Winning a Premiership requires belief.

Build it and they will come.

For the players that belief can grow quick. during pre season, during the season proper. Even just during finals if things go your way.

But where does there belief come from, before the players take the field?

Build it and they will come

Grow it. Tell the world.

2025 is the Sea Eagles year.

Same as last year, Storm, Panthers and then it’s daylight to the next team.

Storm a little stronger wanting victory after tasting defeat. Penrith a little weaker. I smell a Storm premiership.

I just had a look at the premiership odds, Storm $3.75 and Panthers $4.50 is spot on.

I think the same, Storm favourites over Panthers then a big gap to the next 2 or 3 teams (Broncos, Sharks & Eagles) and the rest are well behind that.

We can be in the top 4 but we need an attitude change, we can't go on beating the top sides and then get embarrassed by the teams fighting it out for the wooden spoon.
Even then we are probably 1 or 2 big name players short of given it a real crack.

I really dunno about the Panthers, they should but think about these things.

They’ve been whittled away due to salary cap issues ever since they won title 1. Each year they recover but this has to , and some point , have an affect.

Point 2, arguably the two the lost last year are two of the most influential players they’ve ever lost , although Kikau probably rates equally.

Point 3, the mental game is so so important when you’re at this level , look at last years GF, it was just 2 maybe 3 little moments of extra effort that won that game , SO, can they keep the rage going ??

If they can then Cleary senior , and their systems , are pure genius.

But as I say at the top I just dunno

I don't see the Panthers being anything but a top two team again. I would be shocked if they missed the top4.

Luai and JFH are big outs but Blaize Talagi is a future star and getting Isiah Papalii is an underrated move in my view. Expect him to get back to his Eels form.

While I would give the Storm the slight edge, the Panthers are right there again.

The Sharks are a clear third for me, with the Broncos the wildcard if they can get back to their best.

Let’s see , and you may well be right.

I still think they’ll be top 4 but I think they nights be 3rd or 4th

I think they will, they have everything to play for, the dream for them is larger than any of the other sides. I also think the turn over of their main playing group each year is actually a key part of their continued or continual success.

The big 2 they’ve lost this year are 5 GF’s old and can’t keep producing, it’s their crazy fitness level thats been the main driver to their continued success, followed closely by their systematic approach, those who don’t rate players like Mitch Kenny have lost the plot, his one of the fittest DH’s in the game and pushes their ruck speed, he also plays an equally driven role in their D and it’s line speed, the guy is a freak.

Then there’s their machines Yeo, Martin, Moses. Henry will step this year and become another Machine, Edward’s, To’o Tago all steered around by a 5 GF half. I also think Blaze will rise to another level when thrown amongst that side and their systems, his the big unknown for me, but they will systemise him and leverage his skill set and youthfulness to their full advantage.

I will be very surprised if they slide away from the leading group in 2025 and I can’t really find any reason they won’t be there to fight it out again, they have something very special going on. I agree losing Spencer and Critter were bigger losses and they just rolled on, I will have them in my top 4 and as the side to beat along with the drizzle as much as that erks me, the storm that is, I actually have nothing but respect for the black cats.

If they win again , that would be getting into never to be repeated territory , unless of course they win 6 or 7

Storm or Panthers again I can't pick which one though. Sharks should be up there. Maybe top 4 for us if no one attacks our right edge defense (or lack thereof)

That’s the whole point, they want the dynasty and are the only team that has that opportunity, it’s a pretty strong motivation to keep at it, especially when they still have such a strong core group and an endless supply of future talent.
