Ah rabbit stew. One of the best meals I ever had was with some mates around Jindabyne, after one of us had shot a couple of rabbits and made a stew that was just heaven. Still remember it 35 years on. Delectable. Trouble is you cant get decent rabbit these days. The shops sell farmed rabbits that taste like chicken and the free range rabbits cost an arm and a leg for a scrawny example of the oryctolegus cuniculus in its present shape down under. Myx murdered the $2 gourmet dish forever.
