Can't V'Landys just sign some executive order to make all NRL players just shave their heads and thus eliminate bad hair styles?

In other more serious talk ... we can definitely beat the Needles on Sunday even with a depleted side. We did it in the 2019 Finals (as already stated in this thread), we can do it again.

The Sharks have their problems and they will be a dangerous opponent on Sunday. Manly must watch Moylan who over the years has been a thorn in our backside many times. If the pack does its job I think we will be fine. It will be a modified game as we have lost out best player so I expect to see a solid game plan and grind it out and win a close game.

Sharks have major issues and 2016 is slipping into the dim distant past.
All they have left is Fifita with a bung knee, Townsend, and Wade Graham.
They lost coach to a scandal, and lost a key junior in his son, and now they've lost another star to drug scandal. Morale must be sky high (not). They've tried to keep their 'window' open by buying big names such as Dugan Morris Moylan and Shaun Johnson but it hasn't been working. Novice coach is under the pump.
They are capable of winning games but I'm expecting Manly to tear them apart with sheer energy commitment and belief!
One things for sure, this match will be well worth watching after last weeks heroics, including by many fans from other clubs. Go Manly!

Under the radar?

Not that he minds, but Susan is a man.

though after a few of those bundy and cokes.... who knows anymore?
Not a hell of a lot of difference between him/her here mate and rum is definitely not the preferred method of discerning the difference.
I did not know Susan is a man and that is living proof.

No Bundy here, only cheap crap...probably just as well.

I believe the story is found in the dusty book-filled vault hidden under @Dan's place where all the ST history is kept and revered in the ancient tradition of sacrificing a mod every 10 years.

In it, as the pages are carefully turned, history begrudgingly shares her secrets and it tells us that once upon a time, in a galaxy contained within a marble shaped piece of jewelry attached to a cat's leash, the poster named 'sue ridgepipe' roamed the forum pages demanding obedience (and cash) from all who wandered into his sanguine frame.

His name was like the song of the sirens and many a fool was lured into the tempting embrace of a ridgepipe (history has forgotten what a ridgepipe was but we're sure it wasn't pleasant).

Then years passed and engorged on his victims (or clients - as he told the judge that's what they were) naivety, decided that the user name 'susan' would be akin to the absolution of all sins.

Thus it was done.

(or he forgot his password and just re-registered as susan...less typing, i dunno)

I wish Walker had the talent of thou. It would make me sleep easier.

Des needs to sort this shlt out now.

Didn't want a new thread about it but here will do.

~waits for someone to do a new thread about it~ lol

Parker KO's himself!

With Raiders prop Sia Soliola coming over the top, Parker hit the ground and knocked himself out in the process.
At first glance it looked as though Soliola had hit him with a bellringer.
But as the replays showed, Parker, who went off for a HIA and did not return, had done it all himself.

“When I first came off, I thought he got me, but I think I’ve done it to myself,” he told SportingNews.
“I’ve absolutely KO’d myself. I don’t know what I’d rather, his forearm hitting me, or me doing it to myself.
“It’s pretty bad. I was trying to avoid him, slipped over and just got the back of my head.
“The boys were trying to come in to get a penalty from the ref, then they looked at the replay and said ‘oh, he’s probably actually done this to himself.’

And has been copping it from his teammates? You bet.
“Non stop,” he joked.
“It hasn’t been a good week for me so far, but that’s what happens.”

That's the strongest Shark side this season.
Will try come out the blocks hard I reckon, so really need to win that middle.
They have some strike out wide , but if the middle holds and controls tempo and get into the grind with solid kick/chase and field position, they will fold.
They will try set up Ramien with 1 on 1's vs Funa, but would return fire and give Funa early touches as he can break the line...and will start doing so in the near future is my tip.
Don't want any 'head starts" as missing key players may not turn them around so easily.
Actually looking forward to see some egg on the experts claiming no depth at Manly , as this is great motivation for those stepping up.
Simple game plan, own the middle- play their end, complete and compete, kick AND chase on song.....2 - 4 in it at h/t, with Manly to run out 12 - 14 point winners.

Agree mate. Funa looks a real talent, I've been watching him since under 20s. He is a specialist centre (like parker) and as we seen on the wknd runs a great line and I'm confident he will be fine defensively, that was actually his strength in u 20s. Will be a nice battle with Ramien. Although missing some X factor we still have enough talent to get the job done

Just forward this to Des , But I think he might already be on it

Manly holds a 74% winning record over Cronulla. It is our highest winning percentage over all current clubs, and the Sharks' worst.
I'm a believer in history repeating itself, as it did last match with Canberra.
Canberra should have won that match with all our injuries but they bombed several tries, playing worse than we know of their capabilities.
It's the hoodoo I tell you!
That's why I'm tipping us to beat Cronulla.
