Please help me, a very concerned manly supporter of 58 years Koula issue

Don't think he's big enough to be secussful on the wing or at centre rather Bellamy's thought process of getting the right body and teaching them the role. HE doesn't have the ball skills to be a half and he's not talking the fb role anytime soon. Young hoppas shown enough to have earnt the right to next in line so he's probably a very expensive waste of space along with Garrick who needs to move back to the wing or piss off aswell.

I rate Koula but he is playing without confidence and is out of form. He needs a week or two in Reggies to get his timing and confidence back.

I think Seibold needs to have a rethink. He has shown in the past he can change tack and he needs to now.

Jake should not be playing 13 and should be in the front row rotation He's not quick enough for 13 and is not a 80 minute player. Starting props Paskea and Jake with Lodge and Aloio on the bench. We need to start Brown at 13 he is not a front rower. We need Matt Lodge brought into the front row rotation as our middle is soft.

Croker and Gordie are slow and sloppy and stifle our attack. But I'd have Croker on the bench due to his defence and ability to play dummy half if needed.

Turbo
Saab
Talua
Garrick
Hoppa
Brooks
DCE
Paseka
Simplins
Jake
Big O
Lawman
Brown

Croker
Lodge
Aloio
Bullemore

Is going to be tough choice if Talau is available next week and backline options
Koula still with determined and regular hit up 's last night , slick pass and positioning to Lehi for his try .
Not the worst defender out there last night as well
Hardly being rag dolled over the sideline [ could have happened to any outside back in that situation ] but hopefully a lesson in better outside running
Not sure that Talau would have made things any better last night despite having naturally a good season to date ..
Again , sure to be some serious discussion on outside back positions if Talau is available next week and Koula still has too much natural ability and competitive outlook to not be considered as a definite asset to the side going forward

Actually would be better if you pissed off somewhere else? Jesus loves Koula….took him only 40 days to work it out.

Needs to learn to beat a defender one on one. Koula is a fullback and not a centre. I never thought i would say it but talau must return

Sorry but I don't think he's a fullback either. For mine his skill level, which is basically running fast, is strictly wing.

Shane Whereat was that player.

Koula is an athlete who can run ... but has almost zero football brain, or many other skills. I seriously laugh when people say he should be the fullback. He's basically a winger playing one position too far in.
100% holden. koula fullback. you've got to be f73king kidding me. i only wish they leave in in blacktown for the rest of this season. there are some manly fans compare koula to papenheusen and walsh. how ridiuclous is that. For me, koula is the worse player that manly has ever recruited. he is useless.

I won't say he's useless, but other than his pace he's not the player most believe him to be.

Koula's defensive game can be good. We've seen it ... remember his debut??

But for mine, he should be a winger who can cover centre or fullback ... not a centre/fullback who can cover wing.

Too small and too light for a winger

I think that koula should be on the bench for the rest of the season.... he can cover any backline injuries & or come on as an impact player around the middle with speed late in each half!

I rate koula, but would pick Talau over him in an instant based on 2024.
He was terrible tonight and looked almost disinterested at times and his worst play, allowing that ball to bounce after that shii miss kick from Galvin at a vital stage of the game.
I do agree it's a tricky 1, as Lehi in time will likely end up in the centres and then it maybe the quickest wing combination in the comp - Saab and Koula
Think that’s koulas worst trait at the moment. He doesn’t back himself and is very passive. He seems like a pretty quiet and unassuming character. I think he needs a bit of a rocket up the behind and to build some confidence to back himself in, make the big plays and go looking for them.
