Yep - i get this place burning down after the Canberra loss. That was inexcusable.

But the hate on here after splitting the two games with Penrith this year is just pathetic.

They are a dynasty.
We never threw the towel in, far from disgraced, only goal kicks was the differencenin the end. We'll take the positives out of this and come out steaming next Sunday.

And posting on here like a muppet will mate? How’s that improving the team? Oh that’s right Siebs n co will quickly jump on to see what Hertera and co have to say and adjust training structures and recruitment accordingly. Fairdinkum.

No it won't but acting like you police the forum (put him on ignore mate) because people happen to have a difference of opinion harden the **** up.

If only we had defensive line speed and purpose like Penrith do. We only do it once every six games or so. They rush up...leaves us with little go forward. We stand and watch.... as Luai dances and picks his targets. Very disappointing. We can score tries...but our defence, or lack thereof, ensures we will not be a Top 4 team.

I’m not crying. The goals would have got us closer, but Penrith too professional.

Also a couple of nothing penalties got them some momentum in the 2nd half.

Manly should learn from that.

My main takeaway is that Lawton is not the answer for 60 min of every game. Froggy is maligned on here by many, however his main attribute is setting the defensive line speed. He is great at that, and we miss him terribly in that regard. That was the difference today.

Even the tries we scored we were opportunistic shifts. We never controlled the ruck so no surprise Penrith were able to eventually get on top. The only thing they were losing was the scoreboard.

Sure, agreed. Penrith grind probably would have prevailed eventually.

Doesn't mean we need to try another shift with 3 minutes to go in the half, when we were already up.

Cost us 6 points against, and gave Penrith all the momentum into the 2nd half.

Again....better game management will go a long way to us winning, or even staying in games longer, and give our BenjiBall style more chance to succeed.

I was wishing we could've adopted Lomax from the crowd to do our goalkicks.

If Garrick Kicked better, the loss wouldn't have looked as bad. Had he Played better, we may not have lost. Here's another example of a player wanting to play a certain position but is a better player in another position.

On a positive note, well played Lehi.

But unlike you I stick with facts not emotion.

That's funny I bring up facts once and you start talking about the ignore feature. Not angry at all pissed at my footy team is that ok? seems some on this forum take it personal that some of us not happy with the direction of the club for the last decade.

If you are not waving the pom poms you are a bad fan. I'm not patting blokes on the back for brave efforts we have been **** for a decade and I see no improvement in the team and will call it out.
Just because you spill your spleen in an embarrassing manner doesn't mean you aren't the only one disappointed with manly losing.
gaslighting much?

No excuses
Panthers 36/37 completions
39 play the balls in our 20 while we had 7 in there's.
You don’t win footy games when the opponents play that good
Dragons did us no favours last week
Again dumb plays cost us
Man I said to my young fella today “can the panthers just make an error?” Those stats just confirm what I saw. Fair go plenty of sides would have had 50 put on them today playing against that.

We all know Lawtons game, he's no Cook or Grant but he's all we've got.
Defensively, he goes well. Kam Tong and the new guy can share the bench duties for mine.

Yep he lead the way with 7 missed tackles today. LOL 🙂
Bit harsh, a lot of those must of been when they had 24 tackles straight in our red zone, he wasn't the only one.

simply wasnt good enough. But he wasnt alone.

Season is long and very close this year so am not writing is off yet.
We are fighting it out for a position in the bottom half of the eight with a whole host of teams, pretty much everyone from 6 to 13. Any team that can string a few wins together will climb the ladder. But lose two or three in a row and things will not be looking so rosy.

Sadly, I just can't see us stringing wins together. We struggle to win two in a row, and three or four on the trot seems well and truly beyond us. I hope the team can prove me wrong and build on the promise they have shown in patches this season, but it just doesn't seem likely to happen. Until we learn to tackle and stop giving the ball away at crucial times, we will just be treading water and making up the numbers.

Clown team coached by a professional clown.
Koula had his best ever game at fullback a few weeks ago, and it was the best fullback performance all season, but Koula is not playing fullback for some crazy reason.
Hoppa Jr won’t play as good as Koula will at fullback, the rest of the year. That’s a perfect sign that Siebold is clueless.
Koula is also wasted doing hit ups at centre, because he’s never put into a good position ever, previously by DCE and now Brooks.

Semi’s are a pipe dream.
DCE fraud alert again. Need 12 opposition players to do well.

Today was another game thrown away by our pitiful defence and yet again game management and awareness.

It is such a shame that the same old defensive weaknesses continue to haunt the team and undo all the good work.

Can someone in the coaching team PLEASE get Jason Saab to stay on his wing, three tries conceded as he comes in and gets Zero and To'o gets a try, so frustrating to see the same old errors.

We missed 55 tackles, you give yourself NO chance with defence like that.

It shows you that we are not ready to make the finals!!
