Have to say i hate Paul Kent. He went from a good journalist about 5 years ago to a grub and he copped a serve from benny last night that was a classic. Regarding the blues, Benny turns to him and says you have to be kidding kent. Listen when your ****house is broke you call a plumber , when your lights are broke you get an electricialn and when a footy team has dramas you listen to someone who has been in the game like me

Not a big Elias fan either but he put kent in his place by essentially telling him he knew nothing about team dynamics as he has never had a team. Kent got no back up from the panel but benny got plenty of smiles

Im still smiling about it now

Kent has turned into a small syndrome man for mine

He is a journalist and when he sits on that panel he lets fly and does not hold back.

To be honest all this bull**** about "you have to have played footy to know" is a fair bit of bull****.

The one thing that he said that I didnt like was "I would have kept gidley at fullback"

The things benny said just weren't right and he lost all credibility when he said Sticky was a good coach,one of the best out there and should be coach

im with dan i actually like  paul kent & dean ritchie  .. rothfield & weidler  carry on like they played the game & were superstars,  they  are too biased..  rothfield had sharks above us at start of season  when he did the predictions.. he writes with his heart not his brain...

Did anyone see paul silent E kent last year on the back page show when stewie returned from his NRL suspension.After the game stewie did a lap as the manly fans welcomed him back. He all but said the manly fans were condoning violence against women by welcoming him back and gave them all a right royal spray. He was so far off the mark i wondered when he arrived on Earth. The fans were giving the NRL an up yours of course. I once liked him also and have always enjoyed a spray as the long as the content is correct

I watched Paul Kent last year on "The Backpage" and he had Brett Stewart hung drawn and quartered before he even had his first day in court. Such was the venom of his attack that he seemed to lose all sense of perspective, from that moment on he certainly went down a peg or two in my eyes...if your going to be irrational in what you say, prepare to cop a spray.

As a Blues supporter I am getting more than a bit worried about what is coming out in the press. Firstly Bellamy says he hasn't got the team he wanted, he still insists that White and Kidley should be there, and he will help map a plan for the future. Gee loser, I think not.

Next it is all the calls for Sticky to be coach. If this is seriously looked at and he gets the gig I will take up supporting Qld.

The team picks itself yet the selectors and bellamy overthink everything.

You pick an 80min Fullback (Hayne), Five-Eighth(Bird) and Halfback(Pearce). You pick a dummy-half(Ennis) that may or may not play 80mins, to bring on a specialists utility(Carney) off the bench. You pick 1 80min backrower (Hindmarsh/Watmough) with 2 props and another backrower on the bench. It is simple yet game after game they do not do this. WHY?! I really hate when they switch the halves positions + fullback halfway through the game to accomodate Kidley. His is a ****ing hack who can't pass short, long or medium and only passes the ball to players that are in a worse positions them him. That is my biggest rap on Foran, he only ever passes the ball to a player that is in a better position than himself.

Starting Hindmarsh on the Bench is the stupidest thing i have ever seen, he is an 80 min player that doesn't provide impact but can grind out a game. This bull**** of picking a second rower that can also play front row or a front rower who can also play second row has to go as well.
