Goes to **** when Crocker comes on. If we had Fainu back in the 17 and DCE and Walker improved getting repeat sets we are right up there
I actually thought Des use of the bench was poor tonight. Croker and Waddell came on too late. I would have rested Levi at half time for 15. Thought Waddell was useful when he came in. Keppie has great potential but bloody hell tgat errror in the first set.

I was thinking Garrick was worried he didn’t get the ball down at the end. At no time did I think there was anything close to a forward pass in that last play.
That cnut that called it forward needs to be named, shamed, and fuucked off from ever being involved in first grade again.

Pass was forward by a mile, all this crap about momentum and point of release being backwards is over thinking it.

Linesman was right in line of the play yet we take a camera angle behind the play over his perfect view of the pass.(i feel sorry for linesman they can't win) Camera is behind the play making the point of release look backward, as the camera catches up with the play you see the true direction of the pass---it's not momentum that is floating the ball almost a full metre forward over a short distance.

Remember Tom is nowhere near full running speed, not even running a straight line to increase the chances of momentum taking the ball forward over a greater distance in the same direction---- a ball can float forward yes but not by that much over a short distance due to the laws of physics.

Slow the play down and you see where Tom released the ball before contact behind the 20m display number and the pass is caught almost on the line of the 20m----will take the linesmans view over camera angles and an estimation over how much physics has a play any day of the week.
It was NOT forward snap out of it dude

cant beat the referees.

Parramatta specials to win comp with refereeing like that every week.

I noticed last week that they seem to give Parra a lot of fifty fifty 6 to go calls early on which gasses out opposition and usually the defending team eventually runs out of gas. I also nioticed at least 2 times when we blatantly deserved a six again call the ref calls milking?. Refs can so easily control the outcome of a game with this new rule, it is dangerous.

And if it was called that way every time then I would agree with you TC... BUT they call it out of the hands and 100% that went BACK out of the hands... bad call...

And then made to walk down the corso naked while we hurl projectiles and obscenities AND boo and hiss at the Villian!!!

Well the NRL via Graham Annesley have come out and said it was an incorrect call so there you go.

Lot of good that does us now

I usually listen to you Tech, but on this occasion you are wrong, simple fact is his hands were facing backwards and he tipped it with the back of his hand facing the parra tryline. It was not forward and the touchies do get plenty wrong.

Well after things have calmed down.

Tonight reminded why I love this club to death.

Never give in and as we know should of won.

while I think that may come back to hurt latter on in the year, Parra I don’t think can play any better us there is still improvement in us.

we are still a chance this year I think.

I started a thread about this last week. 100% think we are better suited starting Croker and use Levi as impact
I thought Levi's dummy half craft and crisp passing lateral variety in the first half was good, been pretty good all year---allows Manly to hit the edges earlier and more time for the halves in general.

The problem is not enough sharp direct with variety play is done up the middle or at the add line beyond a few slow hit ups to make the lead runner edge plays have more impact.

Jake and the slow trundle link play up the middle is over-done---it doesn't keep the middle defence on it's toes/honest or takes advantage of fatigue----DCE playing too deep off second man plays allowing the defence to over slide and flood in numbers when he releases causing hospital passes or rushed passes from himself or Tom.

DCE and Tom were ineffective tonight---Walker had more impact and directness even if he hit the lead runner too often at times.(due to a lack of work and variety done up the middle not stretching the edges for numbers)

Pass was absolutely okay, refs bungled that, but it would've been a very lucky escape as we were not the better team. Huge differences in the kicking game tonight but the team did really well to keep with it till the end. It's really upsetting to think how much Fainu would be helping this team.
When Thommos made a break up the middle in the second half, and there was no one within Koo-ee. That’s exactly where we miss Fainu. He would’ve been under the posts.

Your hands can look like they are facing backwards with the camera angle behind the play.

No way a pass will float that much forward if the ball was released backwards over such a short distance, the exception being for example a clear break is made running with the ball at top speed and passing over a reasonable distance while at top speed.(a winger on a break or like the long Buhrer pass from a few seasons ago)

Parra managed to have more possession than us but we again showed our resilience to make the most of the possession we had and in the end we were good enough to win the game with that great try . That disgraceful no try decision decision gave the eels the match .
This match should fire us up for the season
