Game Day: Parramatta v Manly [Round 25, 2019]

Our hell of a draw has caught up with us sadly.
Broncos 20+ easily next week
Dont think i could handle another brookvale flogging.
I want to find positives for next week but i just can't.
Never was going to be our year.
Say 2-3 years before we are a real threat.

Deserves it after tonight’s performance. The Eels are playing great, coordinated, free-flowing football.

Really? We bombed 3 tries and they scored 3 of the back of the most BS penalties you'll see.

Edit: how in hell is the guy playing the ball penalised for not letting the tackler up when the tackler was trying everything he could to hold him down? Even the biased lot in the Fox box thought it was a joke.

If we had played even half decently tonight we'd have rolled that mob.

To all those saying they wont watch...bullshyte. ...everyone hates us..we know it...its a chance to stick it to another side....we will turn up and give a red hot go.

As sh*t as we played
If
We had've completed our sets we put 30 on them.
Even allowing for playing like crap, up until that garbage penalty against Marty when we were odds on to score, we could have won that game.
Throw in injuries and penalty count and we do win.
I'm not excusing them though.
As I've said, I hope we threw that game because if not it's beyond poor.
More pointing out that what that lot celebrate as greatness we don't accept.
Our standards have been raised...

Too many errors in our game over the past 6 weeks, too many players out of position or missing. Dont think we have figured out the best possible squad and combinations.

Can’t believe we have another 4 years of DCE.
Don't worry we'll find that perfect 5/8 foil for him, the forwards will lay the perfect platform for him and the rain will stay away for a whole season and he will deliver for us.

I jest of course, but he goes missing far too often when the games are tough. I can only hope he is carrying an injury as he was embarrsiingly bad tonight after a few weeks of ordinary form. Certainly not what you would expect from an SOO captain. Our young bench hooker showed more get up and go and inspiration than he did tonight. Fast becoming a flat track bully or a glory seeking golden point field goal specialist.

The good news is that we are firmly entrenched under the radar and will be written off by all and sundry. More injuries and a possible suspension aside, there is still next week's game. Where there is life, there is hope @:D
We are gone no one can survive finals with a injury toll like ours just the facts.

2 weeks in rugby league is a long time and that short period has killed our season.

No coming back from tonight.

Think this game was always going to be a tough one once the incentive of a top 4 spot was gone. And with a home final locked in either way, players would have been looking towards next week.

Hope Des can get them focused. Tbh would prefer to play the donkeys anyway since they need to fly down to Sydney and their attack is pretty predictable.

Doing it without Marty though is going to hurt a bit. Finch is a dickhead though, that tackle was not intentional and nowhere near as bad here was making it out to be.
