[Resurrected] Parcell the next to go?

Firstly a big difference loosing an over the hill Watmough and an inconsistent TRex. Hoppa was a loss, even if not acknowledged. He may not be a great player but he is good enough to be selected for SOO, and we could still have used him at Manly. But Hoppa went for a huge pay packet that Manly couldnt match (and neither could Parra it turned out).

The situation with Buhrer and Parcell was they were pushed, and Gutherson was let go (had signed a contract for a further 2 years like Parcell), because they didnt fit into the so called plans. Different being outbid, to just giving away contracted players who are young and with potential. And any criticism of Parcell must be conditional upon recognising that he was playing injured with a hamstring injury for much of the year and couldnt effectively stretch out. We never saw the best of this kid.

Dont worry,we will,it just won't be in Manly colours

Yeah, apparently in the next couple of years he'll be flying back from England regularly to play SOO for Qld!!

Api is yet to throw a pass so could still stifle our attack by throwing the balls behind players, above their heads etc far too often.

Api's 'double pump' passes need to stop ASAP. Last year he telegraphed the receiver to the opposition constantly 😕

Can't wait to watch the new combos at Lottoland

PS. Semi's DV hearing is on today and it may have him missing Rd1 🙄

Ha Ha ha, do you really think that will happen??? Watch for a sudden withdrawal of the charges because she says it never happened or something like that. The brown paper bags out that way will be passed to her by the truck load. The NRL will do ANYTHING, absolutely ANYTHING to get the slime competitive.

Thinking about all this recent movement out of the team, there seems to be a consistent thread...which has Mr B Fulton stamped all over it. Gutherson - slender, consistently injured for two years - moved on.
Buhrer - tough but smallish forward who also was injured a lot - moved on.
Parcell - fast and promising, but slender and not very physical - moved on.
Hiku - talented, but very laid back and not a good trainer - moved on.

See where I'm going with this...?
