When Manly challenged and won the high tackle decision - when "Blaze" slid into Turbo's knee, it sounded like Voss was annoyed that the bunker overturned the decision.

"So with a difference of opinion, the bunker overrules the ref?" - Voss asked incredulously and repeatedly.

I'm not sure what the problem was. It's never going to be deemed an infraction if someone falls into your hip even if it is the head. And the bunker is there to overturn incorrect ref decisions.....

The whole thing was weird.

Tom ducked into his, whereas Papa was upright and still got bumped on the chin.

Don’t think it matters these days LC. If a player gets hit in the head, offending player is done. I also thought Papa didn’t even get hit in the head. He never reacted at all.

I did a similar thing when TKO was binned but I only lasted about 30 seconds before I was back in front of the big screen. I had that sinking feeling that it’d all unravelled for us. That’s what makes it such a special win though. The old Manly do let it completely unravel but we stuck solid. Very proud!

Agreed that was the best part of the performance. They didn't drop heads and fold. They stuck in the fight, they dug in for each other and defended well. Really encouraging signs , just hope they continue it on. Roll the gummies in 2 weeks and continue to back up that effort.

Thought it was interesting that he said dce had hardly trained the past few weeks. Said it had impacted our attack and his own form, or words t that effect.

Perhaps the back injury was more than just a strain.

Mentioned earlier I’m sure BS was involved in another match with an extreme amount of capt challenges that were overturned. Feel like it was a Sunday arvo game at Accor involving Dogs and maybe Souths??

It's rediculous how much Turbo out there changes the mindset of the team. I think having that mobility in the pack also strengthened our defense.

I think it changes the mindset of the team defending us mostly. Even if he’s not getting the ball.

Good coaching by seibold tonight. Had a game plan that worked and we stuck to it. Just so frustrating when you see simkin play so well as starter and you wonder why it's taken so long to give him a proper go.
Garrick had his normal rocks and diamonds game. He can do some really special things yet the basics sometimes go amiss.
Bully is a real diamond. Love his energy.

I don't think people realise how good TKO has been for us this year. If he keeps playing like this needs to be resigned for next year.

He’s been a bit patchy I think. Last night he had a great game. Defensively he was fantastic.
