Look I am hopeful but I am so used to being let by this mob that I can't yet feel the optimism of some.

Close and a good battle defensively and I'll actuaally be happy. My fear is South v Bulldogs score.
 
This game holds special significance for me. I grew up supporting the Panthers as a young kid. We used to go to all the Penrith Park games up until we headed up North. When I was 11 years old I got rid of the Panthers and started supporting Manly in the 1987 preseason. I was sick of them losing all the time lol. And low and behold Manly won the premiership in my first year supporting them!

Unfortunately the Panthers have completely dominated us over the past 4 or 5 years. This needs to stop and it needs to stop tonight!

If we beat them just imagine the confidence it will bring into the Storm game next Friday night. Not only that we will have a packed house behind us. Beat the Panthers and the Storm back to back and we well and truly deserve to be in the top 4. Most likely outright second.
 
I forgot to mention we need to be good enough to beat 17 players tonight. 13 Panthers, 1 ref, 2 touch judges and one bunker. The wind is also going to play a huge factor. We are looking at 30-45 km winds for the duration of this one. Our kicking game needs to be clinical. As does our diffusing of bombs and diffusing any potential 40/20's.

Wind should ease by kick off. Shouldn't be a huge factor except our complete inability under the pressure high ball. If I was Penrith I'd just bomb the crap out of Harper's side although just running there should be enough points for them.

Every single play , just aim at Lionel, that’s the game plan I’d say.
 
Panthers will target Harper with this wind today.

I can see us dropping a lot of ball in our first grade game.

Game plan should be simple today run hard and straight not silly passing the ball around and high completion rates.

As I said in the post above you , just aim every single play his way , he’ll buckle big time.
 
I still think panthers by whatever they want today.

They still have way too much strike power over us and Nathan will show up DCE in this wind watch him destroy us.
 
Game time Manly to do the simple things right and it will give them a chance
Weekes just play your natural game and he will go alright not expecting a lot just hope he has a solid game
