Panthers lead the chase for off-contract Manly winger Akuila Uate

We can't anymore according to the new site policy 🙁

Discussions about players or management that have nothing to do with Rugby League (including talking about how good looking the players are) are strongly discouraged
I meant to say erratic and not erotic . I have sex in the brain . Sorry about that Silvertails forum

Akus manager is looking at big dollars for his client and it would be stupid to offer him that kind of money with our cap problems . I think we would be wise to consider our up and coming young players with potential and give them the opportunity they deserve .

You can guarantee our cap woes will not only affect Suli but also a number of our
"Other stars" .
The remedy is money ...lots of it, the Pens know it and so do we.
The trouble is trying to balance the books by screwing the players contracts is our sad reality.
Remedy !
Well if the rumour was true of another consortium committing to relieve us of our money woes by buying the club and injecting funds to cover players contracts but was rejected by the Penns,..well it's obvious the flow on effect that's going to have.
I don't think it's wisdom in giving our young players a go under these circumstances ....it's called desperation !
Ideally we need a mix of youth and older experienced players
Our current priority is how do we keep the team together going forward :sweating:

Question ... do you have any idea what a salary cap is ... and how it works ??

Letting Aku go makes good sense.
We have cover in his position and he's not exactly a world beater.

Thanks for your service Aku but your time is done.

I don't think giving our young potential players a go is desperation I think its innovation .
I have faith in the Penns . The pen is mightier than the sword of negativity
We will agree to disagree feathered friend and hope our Eagles get up against the Storm tonight

Do you know much about this Braydon Burns from the Bunnies . ? Never heard of him ?
I always thought that Folau the former eels player had plenty of potential . At his best he was a big mother hard to contain . I wonder if he has discipline issues that has staled his potential
Scored 4 tries this yr in the games he's played? Pretty good player.
I rate folau too. Can cover centre and wing and he can catch
