We won 26-18. AFB scored a try that day.

No, that game was the previous year.
AFB got binned for calling the ref a *** Sp*st*c after the final whistle at Brookie against Newcastle. The ref missed/didn't wish to see a Newcastle player take out a Manly player in the dying seconds which should have resulted in a penalty and a chance for Garrick to even the scores and prolong the match into Golden Point.
