Tonight's attendance in Adelaide was 17,728. Not bad given the weather that's been around here today. Still, that is 35,855 below the Ovals official capacity of 53,583.
It was the 6th largest rugby league attendance at the Adelaide Oval (behind those I pointed out on the previous page), and the 6th largest overall in Adelaide.
The only Adelaide Rams home game attendance that beat it was when they got 27,435 to their first ever home game against the Hunter Mariners on 14 March 1997. No other Rams home game attracted over 17,633. That first home game attendance was in fact the largest crowd the Rams ever played in front of.....anywhere.
I do fully expect the 2020 Origin game here to get a full house of somewhere around 53,000.
