Eels winger Maika Sivo, Roosters hooker Ben Marschke and Titans back-rower Kevin Proctor have accepted suspensions by entering early guilty pleas to charges from Round 14 matches.

I'm assuming the nrl are trying to get some $$$$ back into their covid empty coffers as everything bar a high shot is a 'fine' now and not a suspension (it seems).

Oh I totally agree. However, Nine's primary audience are those in Australia. I dare say that most of those who access outside of Australia do so via some connection to Fox League who show all 8 games live per round instead of Nine who show only 3 for most weekends of the season.

The other problem is contracts. I doubt Nine would ever admit it but I wouldn't mind betting that a club like Brisbane has a contract with them to show a minimum amount of prime time FTA games every year.

I used to watch most of the other games on TV. Recently I've just been watching ours. Zero interest.

I can see why Channel Nein is struggling for ratings.
Last night they were up against Masterchef which features a close contest while they had to show Master**** featuring the Broncos.
