Its crisp (7 degrees on my walk to work) but there was frost for the few days prior.... so I think it should be good!

I love Origin bu they need to look at condensing it. Stretched over 9 odd weeks is madness. I'm already a bit fatigued by it all.

I'd like 3 back to back Wednesdays with a two weekend NRL break. Womens SOO, under 19s Origin and pacific tests on the two weekends.

All clubs miss players the weekend before, all clubs rest or backup players the weekend after.

A storm of intense interest for a short period then it is gone.

The narrative down here in the Media has been anger and frustration that the AFL has again let the NRL swan in on a Wednesday night and not have ANY AFL competition up against them. They don't even have a Thursday night game this week... they've rolled out the red carpet, and the Friday night game is in Brisbane. FAIL!

The AFL media crew think they need to bring back an AFL Origin match.... but that doesn't fly the same as Origin down here.

Nrl has managed to get a perfect run down here this week.... I wonder if they can capitalise

If we (The Blues) win but get a back 5 injury then there is a slight chance but I think unlikely.

If we win with no injuries or if we lose I think there is no chance

You'd hope not, but anything is possible. Based on his form prior to injury, I wouldn't of had him the team for Game 1
