To be fair to oldfield, he hasnt seen much of the ball. Matai isnt exactly the best sharer of the ball.'

I think he will grow, and the more he trains outside matai he will get better. We know he is very quick player and good in attack. I thought he played well. He does need to improve his defence.

Whare plays with great intesity, and IMO is better in defence. With wolfmans injury track record, whare may get his chance on the other wing sooner then we think.

Toovey obviously believe Oldfield is currently the better option at the moment. If he feels Whare is a better option then he will make the change when matai returns.

Tooves knows these guys better then us, we should trust his decisions.

I believe we should persevere with Oldfield. He has shown composure in first grade which I admire and I believe we should give him some time to show us what he can do. Hopefully he can become a great salary cap player (a player which is great for the salary cap as they do there job well without the massive price tag, aka Michael Robertson).
