BENNETT POACHES SECOND PANTHERS YOUNG GUN

Wayne Bennett has struck again with the Dolphins coach pouncing on another young Panther a month after Ivan Cleary took a swipe at him for doing exactly that.

The Dolphins announced on Monday that Penrith’s SG Ball premiership-winning captain, Mason Teague, will join the club on a Top 30 deal next season.

The 18-year-old lock is currently playing in the Panthers’ under 21s Jersey Flegg side.

“Mason is fast, skilful, is very tough defensively and already has the fitness to play full games.

Wallace would be lucky to make the bench, based on few times I've seen him. Possibly the strangest signing they've made. Dolphins pack is starting to look pretty powerful though, Gilbert and Lemuelu both look good.

Another one bites the dust reece walsh off to the donkeys. Signing these young guys may be smart in a few years but they are hardly entering the comp with a bang.

Donkeys have to be cheating the cap farnworth and cobbo extended on big dollars now walsh.

I got a feeling that Dolphins are going to have to hope somebody big (or their club) wants out from a current contract. Probably a halfback.
