No 1 rule change 2020

In relation to forward passes resulting in tries and offside-at-the kick rulings, I can't see why the NRL can't invest in "virtual marking" of the field?

The NFL highlight their 10 yard "down" line and swimming has a virtual world record line in front of the swimmers during the last lap. All of these would be calibrated on the venue being used.

Danger is that the NRL would be tempted to use it during normal play, giving more delays.

Could be brought in just for plays that end up in a try. They already check 20 views so why not 21??

Obstruction rule needs to be changed. If it has no impact on defense the play on (use the common sense approach).
I also want teams to take a 20m tap instead of a dropout after a missed penalty.
Last one, can Manly get 3 points for a win instead of 2 to make up for the hate our team has had to put up with 🙂

Wouldn't work unless you get rid of the backwards out of the hands. Simplifying the game is what the should be aiming for. I would be 100% behind getting rid of all passes that are thrown or float forward.
Except they nearly all float forward when the players are running forward. This is an old video, it's been posted several times before

The obstruction rule ****s me, this inside the left shoulder bull****.

The old shepherd rule I played under in junior footy worked for years , if an opposition player directly impedes a player trying to make a tackle OR a player runs behind one of his own players “ no try”, otherwise “ FFS just award it”.
