agree Woodsie he seems to be a lot smaller and doesn’t impact as much as last year. Possibly the back injury set him back a bit.

Nothing! The Manly physio (Rahmi?) said this week Taupau should be out for 'a couple of weeks'.

So I don't know, maybe in with a chance for round seven but I've heard nothing definitive.... not even a split one!

PS: Jetski did get smashed once or twice but bounced straight up like most Murwillumbah lads, and I believe he'll be better for the games. Raiders tested his back recovery for sure.

PPS: Also once the peroxide goes from his hair, he'll be better! (joking)

Its true but didnt he come back from a back injury? Give him time he will come good.. he also played in the centers, last week he had some good runs

I really like this team Woodsie. It’s pretty much the exact same 17 I would pick given the troops we have out at the moment. I think Parker might miss a week though as a precaution

I have to agree with you on this one. I’ve seen Jack have some great moments and some good games but I never truly feel comfortable with him on the field at this stage.

I reckon our team could carry him and he would still produce good moments for us every now and then but having said that, I feel that there are better options we could currently go with instead.

His best asset is that he could do a reasonable job at filling in at centre during a re-shuffle in a match

Either way we go, it's still looking a very strong side. Hopefully Suli, Parker, Jorge and Taupau all back asap and that leaves only Turbo and Walker out for an extended period. If we can manage 3 of our next 6 I'd be happy. 4 from the next 6 without Turbo sets us up for a real tilt at the premiership

Parker should not play, he was knocked out cold and I'm pretty sure he has had several head knocks over the past couple of years. He'll want to play and Des will want him but surely our doc will say nope?

With Dr Nathan Gibbs back at the Eagles, I agree, I can’t see him getting a run this weekend.
The MRC need to play closer attention to Scorpio. I don’t know why, but his head seems to have a bulls-eye on it.

JetSki in the centre’s would be a big mistake. Whilst playing centre yesterday he was a mile behind the play when Turbo was looking to unload. We need a back in the centre’s not a second rower.

In the post match presser said Croker would play five eighth till Walker returns. That being the case, this is my scenario of possible changes. With one centre out, Funa to centre & Taufua to wing. If Taufua is also out, Miski to take his place. Cust would take Croker's place on the bench. If two centres are out, Croker to join Funa in the centres with Cust at five eighth. The most likely bench utility would then be Gosiewski (or possibly Schuster).
