Cherry, George can make good metres but you have to be more than that to be a 1st grade player especially these days. There are so many other players out there mate that play all over this guy. He's unreliable mate with a lot of other players in our side.He can play, but cant catch a ball mate. If you cant catch a ball from a standing position as i have seen 3 times this year then he should not be out there. Get someone who can.Many on this forum say that we should not tolerate mediocrity, well this is mediocrity mate. If he cant catch a ball on the wing god help him being at centre of any other position including first man receiver from dummy half. We are too fussy with our players and its either they can play or they cant. This is first grade for Manly we are talking about. I have said it before and i will say it again. If it is a duck and it quacks then its a duck.
Out walking today I saw a busted up outdoor sun lounge leaning against a bin. I know I shouldn't have, but it made me laugh.

We agree he can't catch, I'd rather put him somewhere where that doesn't matter so much than have that crucial 200m go to another team and run 850m up against ****ing Parker and ****ing Suli probably paired in the inside with some turnstile like Croker, Elgey or Dogko

They are our only 2 issues. Nothing out wide at all and very poor attitude in defence. If we can find a couple wingers (maybe Anderson and T. Wright for some attack. And a specialist defencive coach and we will be ok

Manly are flying the team back from Brisbane on Sunday night, which will prevent a massive night on the drink after their final game against the Broncos.
The players are also supposed to be attending end-of-season reviews on Monday, conducted by none other than departing coach Trent Barrett. The Eagles dug in during the week and refused to sack him. They believe the dispute between Barrett and the club is all the coach’s doing; that he wanted to quit and not see out his deal so there is no reason to pay him out.
The matter has been poorly handled by Barrett, who has come across as a whinger. His complaints that he had to clean the gym and provide chairs were petty.
Barrett has a decent squad and facilities that even the players don’t criticise. Manly’s facilities are better than those at NRL powerhouse the Roosters and significantly better than those enjoyed by the Tigers, who managed to finish ahead of the Sea Eagles.
Barrett has fallen out with former Manly supremo Bob Fulton and denials of this are hogwash. Fulton’s close mate, Manly official Peter Peters, has been on radio saying as much. We are reliably informed Barrett barely communicates with the man who hired him.
