just reported on 7 that the cost to Brett is estimated at $280,000

manly are paying him although hes injured, manly are pretty much paying that considering the money is taken out of his salary, the NRL should pay it back to him ! its the least Gallop could do.

He was injured and thus the club's insurance would cover his contracted payments.  280K would be his deposit for two barristers and the solicitors fees.  Don't forget the committal and all the crap in between.
