Nerves, I was shaking like a bloody leaf in the wind...and racing around trying to find a lost couple...they came all the way from Perth, flight was delayed, missed the bus and then had to find me (whom they didn't know) with the match tickets...it was a ****fight!!
And all I wanted was a pre game beer to calm my nerves.
It's funny I wasn't that way prior to 2007, probably thought we were lucky to be there and wouldn't win...but in 2008 I was saying to myself "it's now or never"Â and as a result was like a cat on a hot tin roof.
