Lol! The eels boss interviewed by weedler on Ch9 news predicts Eels to go top 8 in 2014 and win the grand final 2015.

They will need more than Hoppa jr to realise that dream.

We were scrapping the bottom of the ladder and had an underperforming squad a decade ago and Des/Crusher saw it as a five year plan. You can credit that long burn to success for building foundations that prevented us peaking then collapsing for a 'rebuild' in subsequent years (re: Dogs, Dragons, Roosters and Eels).

So how in the world does the Eels boss make a two year claim and not expect opening up the club to criticism by impatient and frustrated fans, therefore putting more pressure on the Parra board and staff?!?!?!

Mid June or July would've been a better time for Sydney clubs to lob up.
