MWTS - Pre game meeting point Melbourne

Confirmed - Hotel bar at the Rydges for the MWTS pre-game meeting spot (corner of Exhibition and Bourke St's)

All welcome so spread the word

They run a happy hour from 4.30 until 6.30 but will confirm hopefully with me today that they will extend that to run from 3.30pm

Indicative drink prices are $3.00 pots and $6 pints

There are a number of options for food at the hotel or close by and plenty of public transport or taxi options to get to the ground from there.

So, suggest we start meeting from around 3.30pm or so and let the fun begin?

For those not in the "know" Bones was a WCC Tour member earlier this year.

I would give a daily outline of the times, ie depart from the front tomorrow morning at 8.30...and we should be back about 4.30.

Bones (and his cohorts) would sit up the back and yell out "is that AM or PM"

It became a standard joke and has continued all year really!!

Erin Molan from Channel 9 has called to say she'll pop along to say Hi to the MWTS at the pre- game drinks.

Bones, I think she also presents on the radio but not sure if AM or FM..........

Rydges have confirmed happy hour will now run from 3.30pm along with their in- house DJ (Eagle Rock has been requested already)
