I don't mind this Blacktown signing on the cheap and could improve that side with the possibility of a call up to the NRL if needed....but still reckon the sensationalism of "big name player" is close to the biggest exaggeration yet and SER8 had the perfect title with an earlier post @:smirk:

Looks like the priority for some additional signings is mainly based around some experience apart from some still hopeful playing ability . Copely apparently a few weeks ago and now Segeyaro , had my doubts with Dale but Segeyaro should be a very worthwhile option . Would be up to him naturally to show that he is still up to or can again get to N R L level but good player in the past and no reason why he can not get to a good level again , Cheap addition also [ at least initially ] so no harm in giving him a go and another opportunity .

Geez.....our Blacktown boys are looking good in the forwards MA, with the likes of Sipley, Boyle, Segeyaro, Sione Finau, Davey, Ben Turbo and possibly either Bullimore or Lawson depending on who Des wants to go with.

Most on here have been crying out for Manase to return, mainly for his direct running game which is seen as something we are missing. Segeyaro is Fainu 2.0. I dont get the hate about this signing... imagine Turbo and DCE running riot through the middle with the space created by Segeyaro. He is a specialist utility and would be dynamic off the bench for a 25 to 30 minute stint. We were lucky last year with Croker playing most games , we might not be so lucky this year and its a position we definitely need depth. And I'm not buying the whole he is blocking a junior... seriously (Chee Tom???) would be 18 months away from NRL.
If Croker goes down id start Lawton for 30 mins and then bring on Segeyaro, I wouldn't want Lawton playing 80 mins at hooker.
