At 31 years young you do not lose your zip unless you lose your passion

If Segy still has the passion he can still be capable of being dynamic

Age is immaterial to what I posted, his performances for the last 6 seasons is what I based my post on. Although I’m sure age/attitude/hunger has something to do with it.

You can back him if you want , I prefer to deal with historical data and facts. They don’t appear to ever be in your arsenal so I will leave it to being happy to be proven wrong and will be very surprised if he amounts to any more than a blip. Unless we need him lots due to injuries where we will just have to accept he is who we got

I like your self and every passionate one on here is keen for Manly to go on to another level from last season

From what I have seen of the specialist hooker Segy in the last 6 years when he stayed on the field, I have seen more of what our makeshift hooker is capable of

I like your self that is passionate about our Legendary and puts our clubs best interest first
and for the sake of our club Would like to be proven wrong by every player that I see not up to the standards to take us back to where we proudly belong as the Greatest club of all .

10 years of failing to meet our Legendary clubs high standards is getting too hard to to take

Manly is not North Sydney

We are not the Parramatta Eels

We are not just any club

We are the Greatest Club of all

and 2nd best is not a Manly thing

We need to believe this and we need to take every loss very seriously

We have not been living up to our Legendary clubs high standards because we were not good enough .
This is a fundamental truth

Time to step up . No more fcking excuses !

Back to where he was in 2014 you mean. He hasn’t been great or overtly dynamic since those panthers days. He has been reduced to low impact, I’ll discisplined, mistake riddled cameos largely since then. Jake turnip (sp?) kept him on the bench in also ran broncos squads.

He had lost his zip and fast twitch which is what He really only had.

Will do as back up, but not something to get at all excited about
Either way it’s worth a punt. Croker offers very little out of dummy half, it’s an area that’s holding us back from being genuine contenders

Bad /Good Perspective......

This VERY BAD boy still has the passion to play and to compete

And that feathered friends is a VERY GOOD thing

I don't even mind Segeyaro, but This is closer to the real story....he has not set the world on fire past couple of clubs and certainly not in demand....it's more an opportunity
You'd have thought it was Harry Grant with this "big name player" stuff....
The most inspiring stories feathered friend are about opportunities

Rocky Balboa got his opportunity and the rest is history

Segy .....

"You know the saying it's not the destination it's the journey, well that has resonated with me on so many levels I cannot begin to explain," he said via YKTR Sports.

"These past two years have been nothing short of a blessing in many ways.

"There have been a lot of character building moments - my true love and passion being taken away from me, I failed at being a husband and hurt beautiful human.

"I lost motivation in certain parts of my life and became overweight, eating and drinking rubbish.

"But on the flip side, I learnt new skills like traffic control...got decent and concreting and fell in love with monkey (his partner).

"I became a content creator, wrote some blogs, live where I want to live, worked my f***ing ass off and never gave up on my dream to play in the NRL again.

I know it's not an NRL contract, but for me it represents hope.
I know its only a matter of time til that dream comes true again
I just need an Opportunity

Segeyaro has amassed over 150 games in first grade and was once the most exciting dummy-half in the NRL, and his experience at Blacktown will prove beneficial.

The PNG international's dream of returning to the NRL isn't too far away either, as the Sea Eagles have struggled in the No.9 position since Api Koroisau signed with Penrith and Manase Fainu's career remains in limbo due to an ongoing court case.

The moral of the story for all of us feathered friends
Every day is an opportunity to change our lives and break away from our past

Good luck to our New Sea eagle Segy who is taking his opportunity to fly with us

This particular sentence right here, struck me as a sign he is likely got good footy brains.......

"Can’t no one ever tell you that you CANT or you WONT – and people that say that are just losers, period."

but but but but he just told us that we can't

Aim high, young man!

PERSPECTIVE BIG TIME !
"But on the flip side, I learnt new skills like traffic control "

Any productive effort made is more respectful and more admirable than not getting off our arse and doing anything Positive and productive at all .

The moral of the story
Our Greatness Glory is not in never falling
But in rising Every time we fall !

Keep rising and soaring like a Great Sea eagle Segy
